The Great Revolvisian Factbook

Postby Revolvisia » Tue Aug 11, 2009 9:10 am

Bluh-bluh-bluh, edits are the bane of my existence! History needs edit, intro needs writing, census positions need updating and everything that made the 'Recurring Characters' bit look slightly done is pretty much made non-canon. At least the stuff about my armed forces still makes sense.

Speech and Colloquialisms

Revolvisian speech is, quite frankly, shocking to those who are unfamiliar with it. The majority of familiar swear words in English do not exist, instead replace by 'cleaner' words and phrases. A list of Revolvisian colloquialisms will be compiled here.

"Pocksicker" - Insult, noun. May also appear as "Pocksicking [noun]" or "Pocksick"
"Kuck" - Insult, verb. May also appear as "Kucking [noun]" or "Kucker"
"Frick" - Insult, noun. As with the other insults, it may appear as "Fricking" or "Fricker" on occasion.
"Safer than a crab in Brachyuria" - A rather cryptic colloquialism for those unfamiliar with the nation of Brachyuria. It means that whatever is being described is completely safe.

People/Nations that Revolvisia has personally insulted

Johannson Ignaseous wrote:
Pappa Nick wrote:Somehow I find it amusing that even a new player knows me.
Am I so famous?

I wouldn't say famous. Famous implies that you have done something of worth and that you are known for it. You, 'Papa Nick', are a flamboyant bisexual with an ego, libido and wealth that have to be compensating for something incredibly small. You are not famous. You are ridiculous and are known for how incredibly ridiculous you are indeed.

The Griffencrest Corporation,
Johannson Ignaseous wrote:I've seen some strange things in my time. I've seen meteors ravage nations just for them to be fine the next week, I've seen people explode before my eyes, I've heard more than enough screams to send a man insane. But I've neither seen nor heard a more compulsive liar than him. If he is not a bully, I have no idea what a bully is. He is the most vile of trash, the most horrid of Lesser. If I had to give my life just to remove him and everyone related to him from the face of the Earth, I would not only do it. I would do it with a smile.

Johannson Ignaseous wrote:
Spartan Philidelphia wrote:We can assure you that Griffincrest is no bully. The real bullies are those who are trying to hurt him emotionally by calling him names.

Not only is he a bully, but he is a cowardly one. He hides in the Blackhelm Confederacy behind a wall of innocents. If anyone tries to attack the man back it is an act of war against the arguably innocent Confederacy. But what goes around comes around. He is the epitome of the word bully. If there was an NS pictionary, you would find the Griffencrest's portrait right under the word bully and you would find the Blackhelm Confederacy's flag under clueless.

Spartan Philidelphia wrote:How would you like it if we called you a bully, monster, and greedy, capitalist, jingoistic corporation?

I wouldn't like it. But that would be because you were wrong.

Spartan Philidelphia wrote:You should all be ashamed of yourself for hurting his nonexistant feelings.

Griffencrest doesn't have feelings. He would have had to pay extra for those.

The Collaboration of Allied Governments
Johannson Ignaseous wrote:Well, seeing as how fractured CAG seems to be here it's a wonder it's lasted so long.

I not at all respectfully resign then, much like I have been hoping to do for a good time now. I bid adieu and au revoir to this alliance and say, with not even the slightest amount of restraint, that this is the most ridiculous, stupid and high maintenance alliance that I have ever had the misfortune to have lead, even partially, and I hope that it fails to cause it's members no such pain for any longer.

Not because I hate the people making the alliance, you were all fantastic to know, but because of the idiotic nature of it all. I've asked for help and people ignore this and decide now would be a good time to fall to pieces. And it always does fall to pieces at even the slightest provocation.

This has naught to do with the current war either. Well, the war was the straw that broke the lurker's back. This is to do with how much CAG seems to need bringing back just for it to crash into a wall 5 metres from where it started.

So goodbye CAG, you useless excuse for a collaboration. Indeed you are the metaphorical pancreas of alliances. Go kuck yourself, if you can do such a thing without infighting again of course.

Recurring Characters

Name: Johannson Ignaseous
Birth date:
Gender: Male
Race: Human

New profiles will be added as characters are introduced. Profiles of current characters will be added and finished eventually, though I have literally no idea when eventually is going to be.

Revolvisia has an army of well trained people and well built vehicles, though fully devoid of nuclear weapons. This army makes up roughly 1.5% of the populace during peace time, though it can be dissolved into the public, and 4.5% during war reaching up to 5% should the situation require it.

About 0.5% of the population is also put into a special force, Johannson's Personal Detachment (The JPD). These soldiers are the creme de la creme of Revolvisian combat operations and are raised from birth to act as the Lucidarch's invisible task force.
