So, what sort of cars are in your nation?

The major (and only) automobile manufacturer is Roger Dolnalds.
Started in 1930 as a government initiative, it became a private corporation in 1969. It focuses mainly to provide a car to every bear, but has recently gone down the path of luxury vehicles. Here are some examples:

Ria
Looks like a Fiat 124. Over a million of these have been sold to teddies living around the world. Strong, sturdy, reliable, and electric-driven, although it is quite slow. Alright, very slow (maximum speed 120 km/h). But still. One of the cheapest cars in the world. Popular variants include the Station Wagon Ria.
It was given away free to certain families by the Communist Government in 1960s. The only reason why the Ria is still the most popular car (even though the Theta is the better version of it, and more families can afford the Theta) is because most families consider the Ria part of the family now.

Ria 2
Looks like a Ford Crown Victoria. As the name implies, it is an upgrade. Not as strong, but is slightly faster, luxurious and more expensive. Standard police car (although they still use the Ria).

Theta
A car for the new middle-class in the TBR. Made in 1980, it looks like a Mercedes Benz W124. It is just as strong and reliable as the Ria, but more expensive.

Epsilon
An ultra-luxury car, used by very high ranking government officials and millionaires. Visually similar to a Maybach 62.

We only have cars that the Supreme Leader Jeremy Clarkson has classified as "cool". So, no Vauxhall Astras to be found here. Or most cars that Richard Hammond or James May like, for that matter. Common cars include the Pgani Zonda R and the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport.

Naurobia has real world cars made by General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Mercedes, and etc. Although a small car company has recently been started in Naurobia called Sun Motors. Only time and money will tell whether or not they will be successful.

Only somewhat less than third of the cars running on Narmilia's road are domestically produduced, foreign models are largely LADAs, YUGOs, cheaper, older models of Opel, and VW.

The predecessor of Narmilia's one and only automobile company was the RMA Co. (Royal Motorcycle and Automobile Co.) which produced a few dozens of luxury cars for the richest between 1914-1937, before the People's Revolution.
The revolution and the wars with the neighbouring countries that followed reduced the factory to rubble, it was only re-built in 1971 as Red Star Automobiles (RSA).

Models:
RSA 1500 (1972-91, discontinued)
Cheap, simple, reliable people's car, modelled largely after the first LADA cars but even less comfortable and more basic. Nearly 500 thousand were produced, about 200 thousand still run, however the number is declining swiftly due to more economic alternatives.

RSA 1500M (1991-present)
Modernized version of the RSA 1500 with some chassis elements changed and a brand new diesel engine. Nevertheless apart from these modifications exactly the same as it's predecessor. Some 20 thousand have been made, still being produced altough with lessened capacity. Discontinuation date is scheduled to be 2013.

RSA Lightning (1997-2001), Lightning M1 & M2 (2001-2007, 2007-present)
Entirely new, modern concept, comparable to the cheaper Japanese sedans (such as Honda Civic) in design and mechanics. The first Narmilian made car to have airbags, heating, catalyc converter, servomechanism and a 5 gear transmission. The basic model is relatively cheap, people are encouraged with 0% interest loans from the state, and other benefits to switch to Ligthning from the 1500 and 1500M models.
About 150 thousand have been produced so far, out of which 40 thousand are improved M1 or M2 models with re-designed chassis, engine and transmission.

RSA Lightning L, X, and GTR (1999-present)
Special variations for the better off with some extras such as air conditioning, 6 cylinder engine, improved interior, GPS etc. etc.
These models are not in mass production, they have to be ordered specifically.

RSA Senator (1977)
Luxury sedans of the high-officials of the state, oversized Volga copies. Only 45 were made.

High end luxury automobiles tend to dominate Tsvarchivan roads for the simple fact that only 5% of the general population owns an automobile, with the majority of those being more 'well-to-do' and able to afford not only the time to sit in the horrendous traffic in Tsvarchi, but to afford the cost of such an automobile and its associated reoccurring taxes and fees.

Even then, the wealthy are usually not so uppity that they can't sit in a train or bus with more average folks, and the vast majority take mass transit like the rest of us.

Most manufacturers have some sort of representation in the Syreene Stares, and the only Domestic automakers, SDW and Horsch-Yitzhak primarily specialize in Trucks, and other utility vehicles. between them, they only control a grand total of 10% of the Passenger Market, but essentially control the Commercial Truck market, with a combined 65% market share.
The Dominant Passenger vehicle makers in the Syreene States are Ford, Peugeot-Citroen, Fiat, and VW group.
In the Light Truck market (Defined as Trucks and Vans with a Combined GVWR under 3 metric Tons,) Jaguar-Land Rover, Ford, Horsch-Yitzhak, SDW, Iveco, are dominant, to an almost Oligopolistic degree, with SDW and Iveco being the Junior partners.

The most popular categories of Passenger Vehicle in the Syreene States are B and C segment models, exemplified by Ford Fiesta and Focus, respectively. Trucks and 4x4s are much more popular in the interior of the Nation, as are suitably modified decommissioned military vehicles, like tanks.

Of course, Automotive use and ownership is uncommon in most of the nation, as people generally prefer the use of the excellent mass transit system, only using their cars for trips, and to run errands that might necessitate the use of a car. Indeed, the national average is 1.6 vehicles per household, although the average size of a Syreene household is a rather high 6.1 people.

Basically think of Korea, though somewhat separate. The Eight Domestic Brands are:
The Hyundai Motors(only owns Hyundai and Asia Motors, but not Kia, same as RL but does not make buses), Renault Motors(includes Samsung Motors, independent of the French, builds luxury cars), Kia Motors(totally independent, makes military vehicles and vans and passenger cars, but no commercial vehicles), Oullim Motors(mainly produces sports cars and race cars), Shinjin Motors(also owns Daewoo Bus and Tata Korea, country's only bus producer, so has a monopoly, also make compact cars), Daewoo Motors(no Daewoo Bus, but owns Proto and SsangYong, produces trucks, pickup trucks, SUV's, sports cars, and limousines. Specializes in electric cars), Saehan Motors(also owns S&T Motors and Daelim, only producer of motorcycles, scooters, off-road bikes, and all-terrain vehicles in the country. Also makes several passenger cars), and Pyeonghwa Motors(produces pickup trucks, SUV's, and produces altered copies of BMW's, Mercedes-Benz, Fiats, Bentley's, Maybach, and Aston Martin. Mostly to drive away foreign producers).

Audi, Rolls-Royce, Volkswagen, and GM are the only foreign automobile producers operating in the country

Evesa Automotor is the largest domestic vehicle manufacturer. However, for trypical cars, most Costa Fierans drive whatever cars that are cheap and sell in South America. Last year, the best selling car in Costa Fiero was the Volkswagen Gol.

The automobile market inside the Kingdom of Yohannes and its Empire overseas is dominated by two of the largest automobile brands in the world;

VLT Automotive N.V. and Forza Automotive Company. There is however, a newcomer in 2010, and that is the car brand of Asai Motors.

Most working vehicles are either trucks or helicopters. The military was actually smart enough to avoid bringing in heavy land vehicles as they would just hit anomaly after anomaly, and most vehicles not brought in by the military are so irradiated you'd fry your nuts before you can open the door.

That being said, the most common vehicles are Mi-24 helicopters (only in Duty hands), ZIL trucks, UAZ vans, and Zaporozhets cars.

The automotive market in Yasashii has plenty of competition with a whole slew of small and medium size domestic manufacturers.

However, Yasashii's own Asai Motors is a growing international automotive player and is the largest seller on the Yasashii domestic market. International competitors, such as VLT, Rochard, and RVC have all entered Yasashii. The Yasashii International Trade Office is attempting to open up the market to even more automotive manufacturers.

Auto Syndicate is currently the best selling domestic manufacturer, Asai Motors is currently the leading import brand. We're both looking to increase our automotive exports and also open up our domestic market to more imported models as well.

Produces every kind of car from compact to high-class sedans. However the most popular model is the Opera, a mid class sedan resembling the 1993 Fiat Tempra, in production since 1991 and that today arrived at its 6th generation restyling and features also a more efficent engine, better styling and interiors and is also available in an estate version. Prices range from 10'500 to 13'499 Pollars.

This year, Renka motors is going to introduce a replacement for the Opera in 2012.

Other than Renka cars, by the way, we have also imported cars from other countries such Fiat, Ford, Nissan and Volkswagen models but with different names (e.g. the Volkswagen Golf in Powro is known as the Volkswagen Tango)

Almost everyone in the country has a car. The most popular cars are the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Sedans among the middle class. The lower classes use average cars I mean like 2001-4 Fords. The Upper Class usually drive Mercedes-Benz SLKs, BMW 335d, 2011 BMW 550 Gran Turismo, BMW 760, BMW 750, BMW 740, and BMW ALPINA B7. The government uses any car of their choice.
