Congress:
The Congress is unicameral, consisting only of the Bisgean Senate. The number of senators is dependent on the number of inhabited planets or moons the Bisgean Republic owns. Moons with no cities but only bases or a base are included and also receive representation. At the moment, there are five members of the congress.

History

Many say that the start of the republic's history was on 2017, when the nation of Bisgea started to plan its terraforming and colonization of Mars. In May 2018, the terraforming of the red planet began and was expected to be finished by 2032.

However in 2022, World War Three started on Earth and ended with nuclear annihilation which threatened humanity's existence. Fortunately, most Bisgeans were spared but not for long. The threat of nuclear fallout reaching the nation was high and thus the decision was made. The terraforming of Mars was sped up and it was done by 2023.

On June 12, 2023, the HMS Mars carrying 200 colonists led by James Marco Pulido started the colonization of Mars. By late 2026, Mars was now the habitat of about 3 million Bisgeans, the last remaining race of mankind.

On Mars, the Bisgean Republic was formed with John Carlo Bantuas as its first president. With his leadership, the Bisgeans were able to reach Phobos and Deimos on 2030, establishing military bases on the moons.

Then on 2036, a lunar base on Luna (Earth's moon) was establised whose job was to study the former homeland of humanity. Thirty years later on 2066, it was discovered that radiation levels on Earth have dropped to acceptable levels and an expedition was sent to colonize the former homeland.

Claimed Celestial Bodies

Mars
Terraformed from 2018 to 2023, Mars is the principal homeworld of the Bisgeans. The Martian terrain is 63% water, and 37% land. These lands are divided into eight continents; namely Idleim, Xispaniola, Ossograd, Bedfarthis, Techodilin, Brutden, the North Pole, and the South Pole.

Phobos
The larger and the closer of the two Martian satellites is largely uninhabited with the exception of the Sergev Base, a military base constructed as a sort of defense mechanism for the Martian planet. There are only twenty to eighty beings on the said moon at any time, as most of the base and the defense mechanisms are automated by artificial intelligences.

Deimos
Despite Deimos being the smaller of the two moons, it is the one with more activity. A reconnaissance military base, and three cities are located here; namely Ivlenden, Alexiander Bends, and Sergerostel. These cities wer constructed mainly as housing for the workers of the moon who mine it for carbonic compounds and other minerals.

Earth
Abandoned in 2026 and colonized in 2066, Earth or Terra is the Republic's second largest populated celestial body, second to the Martian planet. It is the largest of the Republic's claimed bodies and is filled with cities and military bases. Various elements and oil are also mined here.

Luna
Luna was colonized on 2036 in order to house various military bases such as the Fredian Boal, and Fort Densel. The Fredian Boal was originally constructed as a base to study Terra back when it was still uninhabitable due to nuclear fallout. Now it is a base used for reconnaissance, similar to the Sergev Base in Phobos.
