A large (6' 8") muscular man who moves with feline grace, Ankh-es-en-khaibitu is in pristine condition-the advantage of having a god oversee his embalming. His dusky bronze skin makes his deep red hair appear black with scarlet highlights, his head shaved but for a topknot that hangs down to the middle of his back when not coiled on one shoulder. His eyes are black with gold flecks, making them seem to flash like lightning when he is incensed.

Alternate Form (Su) At will, Ankh-es-en-khaibitu can invoke the equivalent of an [i]alter self[/] spell, maintaining or suppressing it as he wishes. This allows a +10 circumstance bonus to Disguise check as well as allowing alternate modes of transportation. His preferred form for flight is a white Emperor vulture, and he favors a Medium size hooded cobra for wriggling through cramped spaces, but he is not above using other shapes for misdirection. This power allows him to create numerous new identities across the realm, and he may be known as vastly different individuals with different known loyalties and politics.

Aura of Fear (Su) The sight of Ankh-es-en-khaibitu can cause fear (Will save DC 20 to resist) for 5-20 rounds to all within 60 feet of the ancient. Whether the save is successful or not, the target will be immune to the effect for 24 hours after the initial exposure.

Command Undead (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu can rebuke or command undead as a 10th level cleric, and maintain this control over up to 40 HD of undead simultaneously. He often has such an entourage with him, tailored to the needs of his plan.

Damage Reduction The ancient ignores the first 20 points of damage from any attack not delivered by a +3 or better weapon.

Darkvision (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu has darkvision out to 60 feet.

Evasion (Ex) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu ignores totally any effect calling for a Reflex save if he makes the saving throw.

Hide in Plain Sight (Ex) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu can hide while observed as long as a shadow is within ten feet of him. He cannot hide in his own shadow.

Immunities (Su) A gift from Set, god of storms, the night, and the desert, Ankh-es-en-khaibitu takes no damage from fire or cold.

Ki Strike (Su) THe ancient's unarmed strikes are considered magic for purposes of overcoming damage reduction.

Mummify (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu can create mummies provided the target dies infected with the ancient's Mummy Rot and he spends one day per rank performing the needed rituals. He may make a mummy of no more than Rank IV, and any mummies created are completely under his control.

Mummy Rot (Su) Anyone hit by Ank-es-en-khaibitu's slam attack must make a Fort save (DC 25) or suffer the effects of this disease.

Passage (Su) The ancient may invoke this power ten times in an hour, making an ethereal passage five feet by eight feet and up to twenty-five feet deep in affected material. The passage closes after five uses by the ancient, though he may carry a passenger for two uses of the passage.

Purity of Body (Ex) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu is immune ot disease, and may use this ability to suppress his Mummy Rot if desired.

Rejuvenation (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu may enter a regenerative coma-after one hour in trance, he regenerates 2 hit points per minute until fully healed. While in this trance, he is immobile and completely unaware of his surroundings. If he is destroyed, this trance is automatic. The only way to prevent it would be to perform a ritual denunciation of Set requiring Ankh-es-en-khaibitu's ren(true name), a piece of information currently held only by the ancient and his god.

Resistance (Ex) The ancient has resistance 20 to electricity.

Resistant to Blows(Ex) All physical damage is halved before applying damage reduction.

Shadow Illusion (Sp) Once per day, the ancient can manipulate shadows to duplicate the spell silent image. Note that he will purposely fail his save at the duration's end to create a 1 HD shadow.

Slow Fall (Ex) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu subtracts thirty feet from any fall he takes.

Still Mind(Ex) The ancient receives +2 to saves against enchantments.

Summon Shadow (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu is always accompanied by a shadow, a Medium sized undead in the shape of a hooded cobra. It is Lawful Evil in alignment and cannot create spawn, but it cannot be turned, rebuked, commanded, nor destroyed, either. It communicates with the ancient clearly, often translating as the ancient only understands Akiri, Pharazian, and Wildspeech.

Turn Resistance (Su) Ankh-es-en-khaibitu is considered an 18 HD creature to resist attempts at turning or rebuking him, 19 HD in Ravenloft.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex) Ankh--es-en-khaibitu retains his bonuses to Armor Class even if flat-footed, unless he is somehow immobilized.

Undead Traits immune to mind-influencing effects, poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and disease. Not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, energy drain, or death from massive damage.

Vulnerability: Attacks with the sonic descriptor inflict double damage to the ancient.

Wholeness of Body (Ex) The ancient may heal up to 14 hit points at will in a 24 hour period. He needn't use it all at once, but can ration it out slowly as he desires to approximate natural healing.

As far as advancement, if it should be felt the ancient isn't up to a given group, he qualifies for the assassin class, and should pursue it to the end.
