As a result of recent epidemics of disease in Naurobia coupled with the threat of possible future attacks form the Revolutionary Socialist Front remnants a bill has recently been proposed in the House of Representatives called the Federal Emergency Powers Act 2011. Historically in Naurobia we have taken pride in our system of government in which most power belonged to the state and territorial governments while there was little power to the federal government. However in light of these recent disasters and threats it is widely believed that Naurobia can handle these threats more efficiently if all the states and territories worked more together to combat them and the only way to do that is to grant the federal government emergency powers over the states and territories during a time of crisis in order to ensure that the crisis is handled in the most efficient and effective way. However these emergency powers will only be temporary and given back to the states and territories as soon as the crisis has passed. And on top of that there must also be at least a 2/3 vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate in favor of granting the federal government the said emergency powers in the time of crisis.
