Since we do not have special forces, The Praetorian Guard are the nearest to an advanced unit we possess.

In order to become a Praetorian Guard, one must serve two years in the regular Legion and undergo a harsh selection process which weeds out the weak of heart, body and mind. After 14 weeks of training, the men and women who pass become Guards and are awarded the symbolic red beret.

Tactically, they are marines, stationed throughout the Patrian Fleet for rapid deployment and QRF duties, but must also be SCUBA and parachute trained. This means that they can be deployed by nearly any method at a moment's notice, clamping down on and holding objectives before the regular Legion can arrive. The Guards are often called upon to the lead the speartip of an offensive, smashing weak points in enemy lines and destroying key tactical objectives.

for short range they use the GR-2 select fire pistol which holds 30 rounds and can go full auto with good accuracy (looks like a Mauser C96 and the cartridge size is classified)

Ours is the Commando Wing of the Army.

The Commando Wing was formed in the Spring of 1916 after the siege on Frankstown. The idea was proposed by Colonel Steinbeck and he was given the 51^st Stormtrooper Division's B Company to experiment. The result was an unbelievable success. A tough selection process partnered with fierce training and relentless fitness drills produced what is now the Commando Wing, standing with 1,500 men.

The first real test for the Commandos came three years after their development, 1919, when the 34^th Stormtrooper Armored Division pinpointed the communist revolutionary party leader in Minsin City. A Commando team was issued with the mission to capture the party leader and take him for interrogation. The mission was an astounding success with not only the party leader being captured but three of the communist generals also. Along with this bonus came the death rate, not a single trooper was lost but an astonishing 75 Ideology Guards were killed with a further 26 wounded. This was due to the Commandos modern automatic weaponry, body armor and superior tactics.

Members of the Commando wing are the elite of the Kinnego Armed Forces and go through rigorous training.

Requirements
3 years of regular service must be completed, followed by 2 years service in the Ranger Wing.
Minimum height 5'10"
Minimum Weight 155lbs
Must be of 3 generations of Kinnego lineage

Selection
Must complete the 12 week fitness course
Must complete the 3 month training exercise (Mock War)
Must complete the mock interrogation
Must complete the Break test

Training
Once through selection, the troops begin their one and a half year training in which they complete political indoctrination, parachute training, marine training(for water based missions), weapons training, combat training, self defense training and vehicle training.

Only on completion of these requirements and training process are the men allowed to call themselves commandos. Many men do not have the drive to finish, but extra motivation is given in the form of a huge salary.

Modern Commando Teams consist of 8 troops, armed with the following weapons.

Troops also carry their own sidearms, knifes and grenade variants.
