I'm the proud owner of a cat. I don't see anything annoying with owning one. It's never been ill, it spends it's days relaxing outside or on my lap and it does not get violent.

I think rats are cute, yet I don't doubt that in many situations they are pest animals.

No I have not, Rat infestations is the only thing I have been close to so I am a bit biased against them.

Note to self, obviously so have cats always been domesticated, they are animals and they run away, it is not always because of the owner.

Where would that be? cats live around the world so most birds would be aware how to deal with them by now, either that or so are there other predators that kills the buggers off, it is the natural order of things.
