The Tropical Isles is a peace-loving and sophisticated nation, whose technology resembles what seen on the tv series, "Star Trek". It also has other technologies, in which were either discovered purely by accident or were given to explorers at far away lands. one such invention is a device that takes you to a parallel universe like on sliders. The device was given to a team of explorers who were at a far away land.

The Tropical Isles is a constitutional monarchy with elections. It is a large-scale experiment combining monarchy with democracy. Normally, a new royal family is elected once every 4 generations, or the present royal family stays in power if most of the votes go to the current royal family. Due to the well funded police force and education programs, the Tropical Isles was listed in the top 10% of the world for lowest crime rates twice.
