Who will lead the country after you?

So what happens when it's time for you to leave the throne/step down/die?

In the Green something our country has things so well that we could just live on and leave the decision making to the people and robots who just make educated decisions though internets and cyberlinks without any clear leader or government.

Each borough will nominate a candidate to represent them in the national election, and the whole nation will vote for their preferred candidate of the choices given, at which point the person with a majority of the votes shall ascend the throne.

Like every single time the previous monarch dies/abdicates/is recalled.

It will pass on to the King's son, if he does not have any then it will go to who ever is next in succession.

Well, we have two leaders, if one decides to step down or die, their eligable offspring (AKA, Dragoon leader = Dragoon son/daughter / Dragon leader = Dragon son/daughter) will step up assuming they are over the age of 25.

Should any of the two leaders step down or die, and no eligible offspring are present, the marshal of the respective species military will step up to the task and take over.

Whoever wins the election.

If I die or resign, the Chancellor of the Senate will take my place and an election will be required to be held within the next six months.

A new Director is voted by the rest of the Institute's voting members. If one of the voting member's loses his position somehow, either his deputy takes over or a new man is voted in from a selection of candidates, depending on the circumstances.

A new leader gets democratically elected by the people of the FKR when the current president resigns, dies in office, or just plainly finishes his term. So far President Aezak Wudar Daenbruk will remain in office untill 2014 when there will be new presidential elections. It's quite likely he is going to run for his second term during the 2014 presidential elections.

Chaos, followed by attempted re-establishment of government, followed by further chaos, followed by a revolution, then civil war, mass blood shed and then an election. We have done this 6 times in our nation's history, so it is pretty standard.

A general election is due in 2014. Should something happen to President Oskar Aldric Karlsson prior to that, the current Deputy Leader of the Social Democratic Green Party, Vina Chaudry, will be new leader for the party and President until she is beaten in the elections/ dies/ resigns.

An heir selected by Grand Commander Griffith Victor when he took up office. It's probably been changed a few times. Until his heir takes over, the Chancellor assumes the duties of the Grand Commander. If the heir cannot be found, the Chancellor becomes the new Grand Commander.

The country will likely dissolve in anarchy and disappear off the face of the map. If it's not annexed by another nation first, a civil war will eventually destroy whatever's left when I die. The economy will also collapse because no one else in government knows how to manage an industry. They're all military generals.
