Preamble:
The purpose of the Tropical Isles is that it exists as a large-scale experiment combining monarchy with democracy.
Bill of Rights:
1. All humans and elves of all ages and genders are citizens.
2. Each citizen has the right to own land.
3. Each citizen over the age of 16 can vote in the national elections.
4. All humans and elves of all ages and genders in all colonies are also citizens of the Tropical Isles.
5. Each citizen has the right of freedom of expression.
6. Each citizen has the right to freely travel amongst the great region of Tropical Isles.
Amendments:
1. Every 4 generations of the royal family, there is an election to either keep the current royal family in power, or to replace the said royal family.
2. If the royal family leaves office or is impeached before their term is up, there is a new election to impose power on a new royal family.
3. The oldest male in the royal family is entitled to the leader name “Jay Myers (Hurricane Jay)” until the term is over, then the title is either passed on to the next oldest male in the current royal family or the oldest male in the new royal family.
4. Marriage is meant as a union between 1 man and 1 woman.
5. The Region of Tropical Isles is unified for the common advancement of peace.
6. Any form of soliciting, except for girl scout cookies and lemonade stands and such, is illegal. It should be noted that electronic spam is also illegal.
7. Terrorists, mass murderers, and spammers are not citizens and must be ejected permanently from our great nation.
8. National pride clothing, along with cultural clothing, is very optional. however, if there is a major disaster or terrorist attack then such clothing is mandatory for 3 days following the event.
9. The type of religion of the state is organized religion with the religion being Christianity. however, all other religions are legal.
10. You may eat as much meat as you want, except for human, elf, or cat meat.
11. Recognizing the widespread distaste of nudity within our nation, one must cover most of their body with clothes when out in public.
12. On immigration: in order to become a citizen, one must keep all the laws in this constitution here within, and not do any terrorist activity.
13. There is no separation of church and state. However, all religions are protected, even though Christianity is the formal state religion.
Branches of Government:
1. The Royal Branch - consists of the royal family and their staff. This branch serves as the leader of the Tropical Isles. Also this branch can declare war.
2. The Judicial Branch - consists of the Holy Office (the high court of the land). This branch deals with all legal cases, great and small.
3. The Senate - consists of all the localized governments. They deal with local, non-legal matters.
