Economy

They cant control your assets unless they getting you to thing of your assets only interms of Kegs, and not your quality of life.

Placing blame where it is not deserved is the mark of an irresponsible government, but it has been known to happen at times, and at all levels of government.

Fortunately, the current economy is in good shape.

The government is rarely blamed for economic failures. The economic dip that occured in the early half of the '00s of the 21 century, was mostly blamed on the emigration of most high educated citizens from the FKR to other countries where jobs are more available. This led to an economic dip which was later restored in the second half of the decade when government subsidies to high tech industries boosted the economy. More jobs were created for high-educated citizens as the high tech industries continued to flourish and the emigration rate was brought back significantly.

If there would possibly be another economic failure, it's quite likely people will blame the government, especially if it would the high-tech industries that fail.

Of course! Nine times out of ten, it's the Goddamned sythen insurgents who can't help but blow up valuable infrastructure, research sites, human settlements, and military outposts. If Nohn had the peace and security we all longed for, our economy and society would be far stronger, freer, and more united.

And when it's not the insurgents, it's syth in general... they're aliens, they have strange cultural mores and values, and they just don't like humans. If the syth were bettered integrated, more human, and more open to free-market capitalism rather than their clanish megacorp style, things would be far better!

Solution to both: MORE HUMANS!

There's nothing to blame here, but people - and the government - have the honesty and integrity not to put the blame on anyone but themselves.

We have rarely experienced an economic dip. Those that do occur are not severe and are simply explained as a gradual process in economic terms.

Recent losses of civil freedoms were blamed on increased AGA activity.
The AGA has subsided from our region, and unfortunately engaged the world - but the civil restrictions have since been lifted.

Many of our tax increases have been to fund the war against the AGA - no 'blame' has been necessary, the cause is in plain sight.

It's obviously the fault of foreigners or traitorous communists within the state. Another Communist Purge is then needed.

We blame Humans and other Nations we hate.
Deep down, Humans are the cause of every problem in Ruskarkand.

But then again, the public do not know that, do they?
Because we mainly blame other nations that we hate.

We don't really have a sufficiently advanced economic system to have to worry about it failing and even if it did the government would just give everyone a crapton of credits. If there was ever a need to blame anyone, however, the Advanced Cultivars (genetically engineered race of humans designed to cope better with conditions on Carpathia) would be first in the firing line. After that, the dust storms would take the blame for a while, followed by the black market, General Councillor Julius Berger, the voting system (this would take the blame from the very beginning for supporters of former Presidential candidate Felicia Day) and those flies that cause anaphalaxis.

No. The people know that "poor" economic performance (compared to some nations) is the price we pay for social justice and environmental preservation.

The Galladian Empire follows an anarcho-capitalist economic system, so the Crown has no real control over the economy. As the government can't be blamed, it doesn't really point fingers at others.

We blame it on ourselves to make the citizens work harder, if we blamed it on someone else, all these misconceptions and crap would come to our government. to us it's better to blame our own people to make them feel like they know we're honest, with the fact that our people know scapegoats usually can make things worse in the end, they don't believe them. however if someone actually did cause the economy to fall, then all the blame will be put on that specific group, or person.

The Planet and the Imperium place blame upon several different agencies for any mistakes, lapses or down-slides that we might experience:

  • Rogue Psyker
  • Rogue Mutant
  • Lack of Faith to the Imperium
  • Disrespect to the Emperor
  • Failure on a Tithing to the Emperor
  • Secret prayers to the Chaos

All of these things, however, are dealt with in the quickest efficiency to ensure they do not continue.
