Welcome to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nzyghistan. The Ministry represents and promotes the national interests of the Republic globally and supporting Nzyghistani citizens and businesses abroad. The Republic possesses extensive diplomatic relations with many states that are maintained by the world-class diplomats of the Ministry, who are trained in the Taraz and Naval District Schools of Diplomacy in languages and the skills needed to stand for the Republic internationally.
The Ministry employs 9,000 people in our workforce; one-third of which is made up of Nzyghistani civil servants and two-thirds employed locally by our embassies and posts. The Ministry celebrates diversity and firmly believes that a staff from a broad group of backgrounds will provide new perspectives and experiences for the Ministry to benefit from.
Annually, the Ministry releases the Strategic Foreign Relations Review (SFRR), a review of the previous year, analysing how well the year's policy goals were completed, if at all. The SFRR is presented in a televised session of the Council of State - the upper house of bicameral legislature of the Republic - and read out by the current Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also released with the SFRR is the Strategic Foreign Policy Statement (SFPS), which publicly announces the foreign policy objectives of the Ministry for the upcoming year - the SFPS is not presented to the Council of State unless specially requested by the majority of its members.
