The King will appoint whoever the hell he wants! However it would be foolish to appoint some sweaty ape like a human into any government position - their smell would probably drop productivity!

Yes - regardless of national origin, as long as the person in question is a citizen of the UER they can run for any office, including for the Presidency.

Any and all. Why, we have a British gentleman in our highest office.
You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded. Because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. And the only way they could get into your body is if the stars were kind enough to explode.

So forget Jesus. The stars died so you could be here today.

If they are holders of Citizenship in the Republic, then they may run for, or be appointed to nearly any office in the nation. The one exception is the Presidency, which may only be held by those born here, in Welaka.

Think of it as a safety measure, intended to help maintain the ideals and morals on which the Republic was established.

Yes, any citizen can run for Parliament. Cabinet Ministers (including, obviously, Prime Minister) are Members of Parliament. Interestingly enough, there is no citizenship requirement for King, in the case that succession fail and the nation need a new royal house.

Foreigners may hold all offices. However, since the Kaiser is always the previous Kaiser's progeny (expect in special cirumstances such as the current Kaiser), and since the Kaiser is always is of the Vorman ethnic group, the Kaiser is always a citizen.
"For every crime they commit against us, we shall commit five against them. For each one of our civilians killed, we shall kill ten. For each drop of blood they spill, we shall drown them with their own! This is no longer a war of ideals and materials, but a war for the very survival of our culture and race."- Kaiser Erik I, after the Thulian attack on the Reich and systematic execution of 1 million Vormans in a single week

Born - yes, sure. Although they must have a citizenship, and, I must admit, normally it's pretty difficult to get a full citizinship of the Golden Rus.

As long as they have Astralsiderian citizenship, of course, although they're unlikely to be made a Party Leader and, therefore, have a chance at becoming First Chancellor. Astralsideria's protectorates, however, have produced many prominent men, who are counted as Astralsiderian citizens.

We allow them to hold office on school boards, village government, town government, city governments, county governments, and state governments but we don't allow them to hold any office in the federal government.

Any citizen may run for any position in his government regardless of who he is or where he is from, the concept of "foreigner" for that matter is rather unknown in the Republics, we tend to divide people into civilized and barbaric and leave it at that.

A person who was not born a Floridian citizen can hold high office (the Senate or the High Council) if they were born in one of the nations we are officially allied with. Otherwise, they cannot hold high office. An immigrant who was granted Floridian citizenship can hold lower office (Congress and courts), and foreigners legally staying in the nation may hold local office (mayor, district superintendent)

Absolutely, at any level, as long as they are a resident of Vermont and have been elected by the people, we see no reason why they should not be allowed to try their ability.

In fact, the right for the people to elect whomever they wish to public office is strictly protected in our Constitution.

We allow any citizen to run for office, and quite a few Parliament MPs are foreign-born/immigrants. However, the internal machinery of the Communist Party prevents most foreigners from getting to positions of real power.
