* The Reunification Arch monument is the Black Gate (Morannon) of Mordor
* In the DMZ there are two villages. The north has Kijong-dong which is uninhabited but decorated as though it is. The south has Daeseong-dong which has a few people living in it. These represent the rival cities of Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul
* Pammenjorn (the border village between the Koreas) is Osgiliath

Although there are differences. Mordor has a better economy.
