On Topic: If your nation's military issues a sidearm (or sidearms) what is it/are they? Even if your nation does not issue it's regular infantrymen with sidearms, feel free to include any sidearms issued to officers and/or special forces instead.

The GWO gives its soldiers a choice between the MI-P57, a selective-fire 5.7x28mm machine pistol, and the MI-P45, a .45ACP handgun that has superior stopping power. The MI-P57 is more popular in the military, while the P45 is popular amongst the law enforcement community.

Officers can get their own personalized revolvers, usually MI-R357s (.357 Magnum) or MI-R44 (.44 Magnum.)

Pistols are reserved for cavalrymen and officers and the heavy pistol are only handed to the strongest and biggest of them so it is far from everyone that use the heavy KVP as anything else would be silly.

because i do train my soldiers better, troops rarely use the pistols. hell if they are left with only their sidearm, they'll either suicide bomb themselves or shoot themselves to not fall into the hands of the enemy. the guns are pretty strong, they just aren't so accurate.



they can handle heavy weapons, that's good enough, you don't need to train a lot of your troops to be expert pistol-men when they're already proficient with rifles.
