Average Vrystaat soldier assigned to vlamruiter duties. The only pieces of uniform missing on this particular troop is either the rust colored beret-

Image
note that isn't our emblem

or the simple ballistic helmet with facemask-

Image
the facemask is capable of stopping .223 caliber rounds from penetrating, but the round may still cause minor injury, shrapnel and pistol rounds are rendered useless

Uniform used by all branches of the Soviet Armed Forces, a khaki variant exists for arid regions, but is relatively rare.

No, it can just stop the .223, which is well realistic 8)

Lower Tier Armours:

DUTY

PSZ-9d Suit
Image
Produced by one of Hython's defence research institutes and commissioned by the Duty faction, the PSZ-9d is as simple and reliable as the standard PS5-M model, but due to new materials used in its manufacture, it provides good protection from various harmful impacts, including firearm damage. The vest still needs some work because it has no breathing protection system and does not have a nightvision module.

_______________

The PS5-M Universal Protection Suit.
Image
This suit is a modernized version of the standard Duty suit, providing good anomaly protection, unlike the PSZ series suits. Its bulletproof vest can stop a pistol round or two.
This suit is typically issued to Duty recruits and rank-and-file members. Higher ranking Dutyers will usually opt for either a PSZ-9Md Universal Protection suit or a PSZ-9d Duty Armor suit
.

Freedom.

Wind of Freedom Suit.
Image
A light stalker suit produced by Freedom, the Wind of Freedom consists of a light military bulletproof vest with reinforced kevlar plates, carried over a flecktarn camouflaged BDU.
The fabric of the suit is treated with a special mixture called Horizon which increases anomaly resistance.

It comes with two oxygen tanks and a breathing mask.

_______________

Guardian of Freedom suit.
Image
Created in the image of the stalker suit, this reinforced armour is composed of a woodland camouflage pattern jumpsuit integrated with a medium military bulletproof vest with additional reinforcing zirconium elements, providing good protection at medium to long ranges. The jumpsuit itself is double-layered, with specially treated leather and asbestos yarn providing good protection from radiation and weak anomalies.
Typically, its worn with oxygen tanks and breathing mask or a respirator and backpack.

High Tier Armours:

Military

Berill-5M Armoured Suit.
Image
The Berill-5M special forces is an official suit used by the Ruskarkand Military, modified for the Zone. It includes a PSZ-9a military bulletproof vest with beryllium coating and a Sphere-08 helmet. It features a European woodland camouflage pattern. The helmet has a special copper wire mesh installed to protect the wearer from background psionic emanations of the Zone.
The Berill-5M suit is exclusively used by the Human and Dragonkin forces.

_______________

SEVA Suit
Image
Created by one of Hython's defence research institutes, the SEVA suit represents the pinnacle of personal protection technology available for neutral stalkers. Combining a lightweight bulletproof vest, closed cycle breathing system, and an integrated anomalous field suppression device, the SEVA suit will allow a stalker to last more than just a few days in the Zone.
Duty employs its own variant of the SEVA Suit, the PSZ-9Md Universal Protection, while Freedom and the Mercenaries have their own variants in much smaller quantities.

_______________

SKAT-9M Military Armour Suit
Image
Manufactured and produce by Dragoon Manufacturing for Dragonkin units in the field, The Skat-9M is a heavy duty armoured suit used by the Ruskarkand military and stalkers hired by it. It is composed of a vest with PSZ-12p armour, a built-in anomaly compensation suit and a Sphere-12 helmet. It is second only to the exoskeleton in terms of protection.
This suit became the military's equivalent of the Exoskeleton due to the former's high cost and numerous problems during it's concept stages: it was never issued to them. While not as durable and as protective as the Exoskeleton, intensive training of the wearers and superior armaments gives the wearer an edge over stalkers wearing Exoskeletons.

high speed low drag(or no drag if protective vest isn't worn, not recommended but ground forces when conducting raids in rough terrain will at the very most wear it without hard armor plates. A light weight model is under development.)

M85 uniform, PSZ-12 body armor, M80 load bearing vest(formerly a special equipment used by DShB, now used by all branches), Officer's belt(older rubberized canvas belt is still in use) with 1.6L plastic canteen(replaced older metal ones), small infantry shovel, new pattern 4 cell magazine pouch
