National Militia - As the name describes, Xanicea's main defense force in smaller conflicts. All citizens 17 and over are required to join the militia and become active should the need arise. The militia goes unpaid, but when not on active duty militiamen are permitted to go about daily life as civilians. Militia are given basic M14 Rifles and Desert Eagle pistols. Also, Militia Captains (elected by their local militiamen) are given M90S Shotguns. Uniforms are not issued, although as seen in the picture it is common for green to be worn so that fellow military units can distinguish militiamen from regular civilians.

Xanicean Armed Forces - For larger-scale conflicts, the official Xanicean Army is called in. Given actual uniforms (as opposed to the militia, who wear whatever they can get), soldiers receive a flak jacket, boots, armor pants, a helmet, and a standard gas mask in case of gas attacks. Soldiers are equipped with standard M14 Rifles, M90S shotguns, Desert Eagle Pistols, as well as a supplementary weapon (either a Bren LMG, a sub-machine gun, or a sniper rifle of their choice). Soldiers are paid, but off-duty can go about life as civilians until called into service (normally, two months advance before actual deployment).

Xanicean Crimson Guard - Officially known as the Green Line, the Xanicean Crimson Guard got its infamous name from the uniforms. Green when clean, a civilian pointed out one day that a Crimson Guard's uniform had a red hue to it, a hue acquired due to the excessive amount of blood spattered upon the uniform. Ever since that day, the Crimson Guard have retained their name, and will great pride. Clothed in prototype Powered Armor and armed with M91 Laser Rifles, M15 Laser Pistols, and combat knives, the Crimson Guard are feared among even the most hardened Xanicean soldiers. Their selection is done in secret, when recruits first demonstrate their skills. Rumored to be trained under excessively torturous conditions, they are the Premier's Finest, Xanicea's first and last line of defense against terrorist attacks.

If they're armed with (non-MT) laser weapons, how did they get blood on them? A laser could cauterize the wound it creates, meaning bleeding doesn't even really begin.

Unless their uniforms are covered with their own blood due to a high casualty rate, which I wouldn't doubt if they're carrying weapons that haven't even been alpha tested yet, let alone made into prototypes. Or if they're anything like the ones that you clearly ripped them from, in which case they might as well throw cigarette lighters and piss-filled water balloons at the enemy.

It'd cause third degree burns completely through the body i.e. charring. The water would be gone before the skin and such would.

These are the more common camo types utilized by the Arkinesian Confederate Combined Forces.

Special operations forces are expected to be competent in blending in with locals.

YellowApple has begun research into an experimental covert uniform.

Although this particular test operative (2nd on the right) is apparent up close, as evidenced in the following picture, that changes.

This technique is ideal for avoiding video surveillance systems, as somehow the striped pattern is excellent at avoiding the eyes of security personnel for still unknown reasons. Further research is being conducted to quantify experimental results.
