YellowApple is plagued with protesters trying to convince our people that the YellowApple Involuntary Servitude Program is immoral. They fail to realize that what they call "slavery" is actually the most effective method of redemption for severe, non-misdemeanor crimes.

The standard YellowApplan response is thus to "invite" said protesters into involuntary servitude, so that they may "collect evidence" of their "experience". None had any complaints after two months in this status.

A country with an aging population isn't good for the long term benefits of the economy. Likewise a burgeoning population also has problems of its own. A modest birth rate is beneficial.

While the government is completely gender blind (with a few minor exceptions) especially when it comes to government positions (often forcing women to work harder because they are held to the same standards), the public is less open, and sexism is prevalent, many managers refuse to promote women beyond a certain point, some husbands and fathers refuse to allow their wives and daughters to get jobs, and sexual harassment being a huge problem.

Bureaucracy
The government is inefficient, very inefficient, so inefficient that smoking, drinking, driving automobiles, driving motorcycles, driving boats, flying planes, opening a business, buying a house, building a house, purchasing property, doing cocaine (which is legal), purchasing slaves (which is legal), marriage, and adopting children all require different licenses and fees. Frequently people don't get driver's licenses, or don't buy houses simply due to all of the paperwork.

Arranged Marriages
Many parents in the nobility and/or upper class arrange marriages between their children and the children of other nobles or members of the upper class, for reasons varying from knowing each other, to keeping the bloodline pure, to political or monetary gain. The obvious point of discontent is that the children get no say, they either agree to the marriage, or are disowned and left to fend for themselves with no money, and no family.
