The Interstellar Communist Coalition, they're the latent form of an organization (the first Comintern) which was at least partially responsible for the overthrow and destruction of all our former allies and eventually the complete nuclear annihilation of the Earth in the war between them and the forces of the Reactionary Fascists which forced us to leave Earth in the Exodus Migration Fleet. As such they are reviled political organization only popular with social outcasts and criminals. It's a notable custom of Mercatorans to respond to any mention of Comitern with "Let their homes be burnt as ours" and parents cry when their child comes out as a member.

Sure we do, they are promptly thrown into the various insane asylums that exist over the federation were they can be given the best of treatment while the top doctors in the federation struggle to find a cure for their condition.

Far-left parties are existent in Cembria but know little or barely any support. Although they maintain international relations there's no overall organisation. The biggest far-left parties are the Communist Party of Cembria (1.1% of the total votes) and the Left Socialist Party (0.6% of the total votes).

Any political groups outside of the Red Tidean government are illegal. A comintern is certainly a political group, thus is obviously illegal.

It did...until all the Communists (along with the Socialists, Republicans, Liberals ect.) were executed (formally, they were taken to 'Correction Centres' under high levels of secrecy) when the absolute monarchy was declared.
