The largest Christian sect in Arizona Nova, the Church of Saint Peter, venerates him as one of the first and foremost of the Apostles to preach to the Gentiles. As well, certain religious councils are also venerated; the First Council of Marratzanis, which formed the Church, and the Second Council, which reconciled it politically if not doctrinally to Perseid Islam, tend to loom larger in importance than the actual players involved.

The Republic of Yellerbellies, being of agnostic belief, have ,by public acclamation, decided that our patron saint should be St. Severiano, the patron saint of golfers.

St. Gilbert of Hopcaster, naturally. He founded the monastery and cathedral which have been at the very heart of our nation's history.

Many of the nation's older towns and cities have their own patron saints, listed below. Given a lack of Gilbertine saints, many adopted saints from neighbouring England:

St. Wilfrid - Patron Saint of Adlesford
St. James - Patron Saint of Mallingford
St. Edward the Confessor - Patron Saint of Whitsend. According to a local legend Edward's ship moored in the harbour here during a storm, and the pious English King cured several people of the King's Evil. He never came here, in reality, but his popularity endures.
St. Cuthbert - Patron Saint of Darlingcaster
St. William of York - Patron Saint of Hopden. Adopted in 1409 at the behest of a local Abbot, who had been cured of a terrible (unspecified) illness via St. William's intercession.
+ The Prince-Bishopric and Abbacy of Saint Gilbert +

Proudly anachronistic since some vaguely defined point in the early Middle Ages.
