Rankings:
1.0 - 0.750 = very high development
0.749 - 0.650 = high development
0.649 - 0.450 = medium development
0.451 - 0.250 = low developement
.249 or below = failed state

When you got 2 large powerhouse colonies and a quite economically strong main nation,the available money is greater thus allowing a higher GDP per capita.

I would take my MYS and EYS as approximately the same (don't expect the younger generation to spend longer in school), I already have an expected school life in my factbook at 15.3 years.

MY Calcs are below:

LEI: (75.3-20)/(63.2) = 0.875

MSYI: 15.3/13.2 = 1.160
ESYI: 15.3/20.6 = 0.743

EI: SQRT(1.16*0.743)/0.951 = 0.976

II: [LN(41,275)-5.094]/6.498 = 0.852

HDI = CURT( 0.875*0.976*0.852) = 0.899

That'd put me in fifth worldwide, right behind the USA- not an illogical result for a nation mostly based on the same.

Life Expectancy: Male: 114.32; Female: 110.42 [Before someone, inevitably shouts godmod, let me clarify - high level of life expectancy is mostly thanks to public view that alcohol and tobacco as attempt of western cultural invasion, alcohol and tobacco being almost inaccessible due to cost, regulations etc and view as sexual act as strictly between two married partners and very good healthcare]

Which comes out to be still lower than the RL USA...

Only proves you have a higher level of inflation, and higher prices for goods.
