The Supreme People's Assembly has 4000 People's Represntatives, plus members of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Council of Ministers, Central Military Commission and Central Governing Committee. The Only party allowed in Koyro is the People's Socialist Revolutionary Party, and thus the Supreme People's Assembly is dominated by it.

The House of Commons has 500 constituency MPs and a further 100 additional MPs representing the various regions of Central Lothian.
The House of Lords has 164 members, two for each county.
Please note: Central Lothian is the direct successor to Mid Lothian*. As a result, I am still called Rebecca, I am still a Grammar Nazi and most information pertaining to ML also applies to CL (although I will be taking this time to change a few things).

* - And I may refer to the country as Mid Lothian. If I do, assume that I mean Central Lothian. (And not to be confused with "Midlothian" - I'm using that as a fascist version of CL.)

Xanicea has a Parliament-like body known as the "Duma". There are two kinds of Dumas:

Municipal Dumas cover city and municipality zones in Xanicea (similar to local governments). Municipal Dumas hold elections every two years (no term limit) and each has 250 members (125 must be present to hold an official meeting). Municipal Dumas cover local taxation, law-passing, crime investigation, and budget allocation.

The other Duma is the National Duma. There is only one National Duma, held in Central Pripyat City (the country's capital), and it contains 1,500 members (25 for each municipality; 990 must be present to hold an official meeting). The National Duma holds elections every four years, and members are limited to a term of 12 years. The National Duma concerns itself with federal crime investigation, national taxation, federal law-passing, national budget allocation, and issuing (or withholding) funding for wars.

Being a small fiefdom, Samuraikoku has 60 representatives (daimyô) in the Council of Daimyô, who vote the decisions proposed by the Shogûn and his 15 ministers.
The daimyô are 15 for each of the 4 islands of Samuraikoku (Shinano, Kai, Owari and Mikawa), distributed proportionally among the parties elected.

Regarding States-General

We have a bicameral system known as the State-Generaal (States-General) which has a total of 205 seats:

Tweede Kamer van die State-Generaal (Second Chamber or Tweede Kamer) ------ the Lower House: 130 seats
The Tweede Kamer is elected through by means of the Single transferable vote.

Eerste Kamer van die State-Generaal (First Chamber or Eerste Kamer) --- the Upper House: 75 seats
The Eerste Kamer is elected by the Regional Estates which is in turn elected by the general electorate by means the Single transferable vote.

There is talk of political change so this could lead to two much bigger Houses.

The Social Republic of Volklandt has a unicameral Parliament known as the Grand Council of the Republic; it consists of two types of Councillors: the Peoples' Deputies and the Labor Deputies. The Peoples' Deputies are elected by closed party list elections (no constituencies, it's a national election) and comprise 400 members and the 60 (6 from each corporation) Labor Deputies are appointed by each corporation's board of directors. There is no difference in the powers of the different Councillors, merely how they are elected. All of them serve fifteen year terms concurrently.

Postby Parhe » Wed May 18, 2011 9:47 pm

The closest to a parliament at the national level is a hose of governors, though few are women. There are 14 members appointed by Hwangje(emperor) Yi Jae, and are all part of the royal family of Korea(Parhe) or of the Andong Kwons. The different members and regions are Korea, Kyushu-Ryukyu, Ainu Lands, Shandong-Shanghai, Hebei, Mongolia, Inner Manchuria, Coastal Manchuria, Nani Lands, Kamchatka, Arctic, Yakuts Land, Central Siberia, and Lake Baikal.

The House of Commons has 140 members, including 120 Members of Parliament and 20 Knights of the Shire.
The House of Lords' numbers are more fluid since the large bulk of members are Peers of the Realm (lords) who sit by hereditary right, and the Peerage's numbers change by creation of new peerages by the Queen and also by the extinction of titles. There are also the 91 Gwynnic Clan Chiefs who hold a hereditary right by their clan to sit in the Lords, and the 26 Bishops of the Church of Harrowland who sit by their order of consecration.
