The Confederate Supreme Court has the power to rule on the constitutionality of the actions of the legislative and executive branches of our government. But it also is the court of last appeals for criminal and civil cases so that is not its sole purpose.

Ours is called the Federal Court of Constitutional Guardianship and Constitutional Authority (Cour fédérale de tutelle de la Constitution et l'autorité de la Constitution). It has nine Constitutional Guardians (gardien constitutionnelle). Any case involving a constitutional matter should be referred to the FCCG. It can rule on the application of the Constitution in cases, or it can rule on points of law with regards to the Constitution.

The FCCG also has a VERY limited legislative function. If there is a piece of legislation which changes the Constitution in any way, there must be a majority vote in the Court to pass the modification. Through protocols agreed internationally, any World Assembly resolutions have to be passed by the Constitutional Court as this is law on an international scale.

Yes, we have that. It is called the Court of Natural Rights.

The constitutional court of the Commonwealth of Norvenia is known as the High Court of the Commonwealth. It comprises seven justices, nominated by the Bar Association of Norvenia and confirmed by the Norvenian Assembly, who serve until the age of seventy-five.

The High Court has the power of judicial review (it can strike down laws as unconstitutional) and serves as the highest court of appeal. It can only strike down laws when a case is brought before it concerning that law, so these powers are innately linked.

At any given time, one judge on the court must be a woman, one judge must belong to an ethnic minority, and one judge must belong to a religious minority (non-Norvenian Reformed Apostolic Church).

The constitutional court of Terrasricas used to be the Conselho Real (Royal Council), consisting of 13 judges appointed by the monarchy. Cases were referred to the council with the approval of the National Congress or with the request of the monarchy. It was housed in the Palácio da Justiça.

However, after the revolution, the Decisão da Legalidade (Decision of Legality) became the constitutional "court." The Decisão da Legalidade is not actually a court but a type of trial. A case is argued in front of 15 jurors randomly selected from the populace who must rule on whether or not a law is constitutional. The only governmental members of the proceedings are the 3 experts who must explain the most common usage of language in the time the constitution was written. Cases are referred through appeal.

The Sage council acts as the constitutional court, the Sages are Philisophical in nature and know the constitution back and forth, selected from the council of Magi, the council of Radiance, the black council, or the Imperial Inner Circle, there has been controversy over who exactly is fit to be on the council, but the Just are usually selected, and they uphold the laws of the founders

The Constitutional Courts are central to Kreanolthan government.

This tower is the prototype for all Kreanolthan court buildings. Every planet and cityship has at least one. These towers are also usually more decorated in actual construction.

The tower in the forefront is the home of the High Court. This court oversees all district court activity, and has the authority to review all decisions made by the lower courts.
