So in a political sense to what direction is your nation, left, center or right?

Vecherd is a Far-Right nation(Libertarianism).

Left/Right scale is pretty flawed. Economically we're probably pretty centrist, but socially we're pretty libertarian.

Far-right absolute monarchy with a rubber stamp parliament. Lower House freely elected, but holds no powers; Upper House appointed, and runs the country on a day-to-day basis with an iron fist. Monarch holds total power; the Upper House runs the country at his/her pleasure.

My Dukedom is a balanced mixture of individual freedoms, political freedoms, and a free, yet regulated, economy, with a true social safety net for those who need it, and with stringent environmental laws. We believe in a well-funded police and military which takes action when required, but believes democracy should trump all other means of resolving conflict.

The Floridian Coast would not be labeled "far-left" as that could invoke the very negative connotations of Stalinism or Maoism, or other authoritarian communist ideologies we fully reject.

We are constitutionally socialist with guaranteed democratic and civil rights, and no matter what party is in power, they must adhere to the socialist constitution.
