The Kylarnatian Crown Dependancy of Tiami
The Official Factbook

The Kylarnatian Crown Dependancy
of Tiami is an Republic situated in the region of Guanxi.
Tiami is a powerhouse country in the region, presenting almost global
influence. After the dissolution of The Roman Republic of
Christantle, Tiami, a former colony, was left to fend
the borders from foreign invasion. Now, a unified country,
Tiami has made an urgent acceleration in the way of life.
Though Christantle has dissolved, the newly revived former country,
still holds many of the prominent leaders of their mother state.
Figures include the former leader, Rodrigo Audrite Da Puccini.

As the ruling leader, Miriske Yamaku is the primary figure in the
country. She gained power in the fiscal year of 2008 on January 18.
Miriske Yamaku is also the youngest ruler in history, at the age of
28. She is expected to serve until the time of her death.

History

The Ancient Republic first started
out as a Roman Colony under the Roman Empire. Shortly after
another colony started a revolution, Christantle, Tiami
joined the fight with the rebels. After a series of bloody
battles and over 12,000 Tiamian Soldiers dead, both
colonies were ceded and recongnized as independent
countries. However, Tiami's government was in shambles,
while Christantle Prospered. Asking to become a colony to
the Christantians, they became ruled once again.

No my history follows throughout the next two-thousand years,
other than Great Christantian Depression, which also destroyed
the Tiamian economy. The Ancient Republic would one day,
in the future, become an independent country again. On April
27, 2011, The Roman Republic, under increasing threat and
inflation, suddenly collapsed. When the news reached the colonies,
mourning was already introduced. Only days later, former leader of
The Roman Republic, Rodrigo Audrite Da Puccine signed documents
that gave Tiamian colony official independence. And thus, Christantle
fell into the abyss, and Tiami rised as The Ancient Republic of Tiami.

As a newly formed country, Tiami had initial failiures,
but was eventually overcomed. The new leader, Miriske Yamaku was only
twenty-eight years old when she took control of the country. She is a robust
leader who has introduced Tax Reforms, Labour Reforms, and an Economic
Stimulus, that caused the economy to boom.

As Christantle once had colonies, Tiami does too. Only two exist, which are
former colonies of Christantle, which are still held in the mother countries name.
Combined, they operate as one country, economically and militarily. The Ancient
Republic has confirmed that in the greater interest, the military will be reformed
into a stronger fighting force and began to expand once again.

Government

4.1 Overview

The Imperial Republic is one of the world's oldest surviving federations existing today. Tiami is a constitutional republic and representative democracy, in which majority rule is tempered by minority rights protected by law. The government of Tiami is regulated by a system of checks and balances defined by the Tiamian Constitution, which is the formal foundation for all creations of the country. In the Tiamian federalist system, citizens are usually subject to three levels of government, federal, state, and local.

The Imperial Republic is a vast federation composed of three seperate branches to ensure that the government nor branch recieves to much power, which is guarded by the power in the Constitution. The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branch are the branches in which all government powers are ruled by.

Foreign Relations and Military

5.1 Overview

The modern military of Tiami exercises global economic, political, and military influence. Though quite small in numbers compared to other nation in the world, the Tiami Armed Forces(TAF) are numbers in the tens of millions. Tiami has special relations ships with the country of Christantle II and Mighty Christantle, both economically and militarily. Other nations such as Milograd and original members of the deceased WERTA Alliance are other such nations with the closest relationships with The Imperial Republic of Tiami.

In 2011, Tiami spent $105.4 billion on Official development assistance, the top ten most in Guanxi. The leader of Tiami holds the title of commander-in-chief of the nation's armed forces and appoints its leaders, the secretary of defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The Department of Defense administers the armed forces, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. Tiami's Coast Guard is run by Homeland Security, not the militay. In 2010, the total troop count was nearly 14,318,348 personnel on active duty. The Defense Department deploys 3.2 million citizens.

Military service is compulsory. All men ages 18-42 must serve at least one year of active duty. A draft is only accpetable in war or leading up to war, where the military can reach a size on upwards of nearly 60,000,000. Tiamian forces can be rapidly deployed by the large fleets of the Air Force, then Navy's thirty-three Aircraft carriers, or the Marine Expenditionary Forces. After Census, Tiami had 3,348 bases operating worldwide. The shear amount of this global military presence has prompted some scholars to describe the Tiamians as maintaining an "empire of bases

5.2 Army

The Tiami Army are the main branch of the Tiami Armed Forces. It is the largest and oldest of the five uniformed branches of the military. The modern army has it's establishment from the Independence war of Rome. In 46 BC, Christantle revolted against the Roman Empire and the army was the back bone of the revolution. Tiami, a newly formed colony of Rome sided with Christantle. At the Battle of the Plains, 50,000 Christantians and 12,000 Tiamians slaughtered over 100,000 Roman soldiers. Shortly after the horrific battle, Roma recognized Christantle and Tiami as the colony of Christantle and the Tiamian colony had begun but would gain independence many years later.

The primary mission of the Army is to "provide necessary forces and capabilities in support of the National Security and Defense Strategies". Tiami's army is part of the Department of Defense. The Army is headed by the Supreme Secretary General, and the Chief Staff of Defense. In 2011, the Department of Defense released that the size of the Tiami Army Division(TAD) was at an all time high of 11,948,348 soldiers; The National Guard was estimate at 1,203,493; And the Reserve estimated at 943,483 soldiers, bringing the total to nearly 14.5 million soldiers.

5.3 Navy

The Tiamian Navy is the Maritime forces and naval warfare branch of the Tiamian Armed Forces and one of the five uniformed branches. In Guanxi and around the world, the navy maintains a sizeable fleet to ensure domestic tranquility and peace at home. The TN has a large battle group of thirty-three Aircraft Carriers, with seven being built and one being planned, which includes a dual deck design. As of 2011, 1,345,945 men are enlisted to operate over 1,000 warships in active reserve and over 13,000 aircraft.

The 21st century Tiamian Navy maintains a sizable global presence, deploying in such areas as Guanxi and and other non regional allies and to preserve peace in scarred countries. It is a blue-water navy with the ability to project force onto the littoral regions of the world, engage in forward areas during peacetime, and rapidly respond to regional crises, making it an active player in Tiamian foreign and defense policy.

5.4 Marine Corps

The Marine Corps are the naval infantry responsible for prividing projection of power from the sea. Using swift mobility, Tiamian marines under go brutal training to become some of the best in the world. The TMC is one of the five uniformed branches of the Tiamian Armed Forces. In the civilian leadership structure of the Tiamian military, the Marine Corps is a component of the Tiamian Naval Department, which the work closely with the Navy.

Tiami's marines can be traced from the first Christantian marines who fought a bloody battle against the Roman Empire. Fighting with the Christantians, Tiami was able to overcome the Roman oppression. Now in the present, the marines are the backbone of the naval army. Together with the real army, they fight to ensure domestic tranquiltiy and provide for the common defense.

The Tiamian Marine Corps includes just under 750,000 active duty Marines (as of December 2009)and just under 200,000 reserve Marines. It is the smallest of the Tiamian armed forces in the Department of Defense. The Marine Corps is nonetheless larger than the armed forces of many significant military powers.

Economy

The Ancient Republic is a Capitalist Mixed Economy, which is fueled by abundant natural resources, a well-developed infrastructure, and high productivity. According to The Economic Bureau of Tiami, Tiami had a GPD of $43.323 trillion which includes overseas territories, which makes Tiami one of the richest nations in Guanxi. The Sasik Prefecture is by far the richest of the four prefectures in Tiami. The estimate GPD per capita was $24,934, one of the highest in Guanxi.

In 2011, the Private sector was estimate to be 66% and the Public sector at 44%. After estimation, the Tiamian workfroce was over 701.3 million. With 81.6 million citizens, commerce is the leading field of emplyment. The largest private employment sector is health care and social assistance, with 59.6 million people. 15% of all workers are estimated to be unionized, possibly one of the lowest in
Guanxi.

The Ancient Republic is a leading exporter and importer in Guanxi. Tiami exports material such as Steel, Iron, Carbon Fiber, Wood, Oil, Energy, etc. Tiami is also one of the largest producers in Guanxi since founding. With electricity being produced, nuclear power plays a massive part in such times. Wind and Coal power is second and third behind nuclear power in terms of production of electricity.

In The Ancient Republic of Tiami, is measured by the way of the Tiamian Commerce Department by household. The differences between household and personal income is considerable since 37% of households, the majority of those in the top two quintiles with incomes exceeding $49,342, now have two income earners

Income inequality has increased considerably, with the mean after-tax income of the top percentile increasing 128%, versus 45% for the top quintile overall, 85% for the fourth quintile, 12% for the middle quintile, 30% for the second quintile and 3% for the bottom quintile

Pictured to the right is the Greek World Finance Center in Valentia. Standing at nearly 2,020 ft., GWFC is one of the tallest buildings in the city. A total of $2.4 trillion Daishus are present within the depths of the building. The Finace Center was built after the 2009 terrorist attack that took place on December 18. Trillions of funds were lost while the deaths were numbers on upwards of 6,839.

Overview

A central feature of the Tiamian economy is the economic freedom afforded to the private sector by allowing the private sector to make the majority of economic decisions in determining the direction and scale of what the Tiamian economy makes. This is enhanced by relatively low levels of regulation and government involvement, as well as a court system that generally protects property rights and enforces contracts. Today, the Ancient Republic is home to 87.3 million small businesses, and a large presence of millionares, billionares and one of the worlds few trillionares. From its emergence as an independent nation, the Ancient Republic of Tiami has encouraged science and innovation.

The Ancient Republic is rich in mineral resources and fertile farm soil, and it is fortunate to have a decent climate. It also has extensive coastlines on the Eastern Seaboard and South Seaboard. Rivers flow from far within the continent, these extensive waterways have helped shape the country's economic growth over the years and helped bind Tiami into an economic superpower of Guanxi.

The number of workers and, more importantly, their productivity help determine the prosperity of the Tiamian economy. Throughout its history, the Ancient Republic of Tiami has experienced steady growth in the labor force, a phenomenon that is both cause and effect of almost constant economic expansion. Promises of high wages brings many highly skilled workers from around the world to the Ancient Republic. Tens of Millions of immigrants entered The Ancient Republic during the first decade of the twenty-first century.

Demographics

The 2011 Tiamian reported that 1,300,000,000 residents; The Tiamian Census Bereau's Population Clock estimates the population to be on upwards of 1,686,193,860, including an estimated 23,926,285 illegal immigrants. Tiami is one of the populous nations of Guanxi. With a birth rate of about 94.32 of 1,000, Tiami is above average for the world average. In the fiscal 2009 year, 5,426,987 immigrants were awarded citizenships into the newly founded Republic. The Italian descent has been the leading immigration group for the past four decades.

The Kylarnatian Crown Dependancy of Tiami is highly diverse, with twenty three ancestry groups over one million members. By far, the largest race is the white population, which constitutes of about 83% of the 1,160,000,000 estimated Tiamian citizens. Asian Tiamians are the largest minority group in Tiami. With so much diversity, it is hard to believe that Tiami could hold all these people in. The Imperial Republics estimated population in ten years is expected to be two billion citizens. Which by then, Tiami would start to become seriously crowded.

About 93% of the population lives in the Urbanized areas of Tiami. Two thirds of the urban population lives in cities of 105,000 people. In 2010, 456 incorporated areas had population over 100,000, twenty-five cities had a population of over one million, and nine global cities had a population of over 3 million. Of the hundred fastest growing metropoliticians in Tiami , Eighty-seven were situated on the North Coast of Tiami , in the Sasik Prefectures.

Alkharan is the Dependancy's economic hub. It is also the capital city. The Tiami Census estimated the population to be 105,213,493 people. The Metro is estimated in at 450,415,312 people. This makes Alkharan the largest city in Tiami and one of the largest in Guanxi. A large presence of Italian Descents is present here, as in the rest of the country. Valentia has an estimated profit of over $9.1trillion Universal Standard Dollars. With left over money, Alkharan has undergone a massive building spree. Over 202 buildings soar over 200 meters. Of the thousands of skyscrapers, 39 reach a staggering height of 500 meters, with the tallest building, The Ancient Trade Center, towering at 3,906ft.

After recent studies, if Alkharan continues to grow, the city must grow taller because of the possibility of crowded area. Being on a penisula means there is not as much land. As Valentia grows, the population grows, which is soaring. Alkharan had an increase of population from 12,000,000 in 2005, to 28,000,0000 in 2011, making Alkharan one of the fastest growing cities in the world. Alkharan maintains a large presence of immigrant, as she is the main immigration city in Christantle.

7.1 Language

Tiami is diverse in language. However, with usuality, Italian is the most spoken language in the country. The Department of Language and Culture estimated that the Italian language spoken as a premium was 52%, or about 580,000,000 citizens. With the diversity of Tiami, English is second most spoken language, with 23% of all Tiamian speaking as a premium or secondary. Other languages such as Russian, Greek, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, and Canadian are also spoken in manner as a premium or primary.

7.2 Religion

The Dependancy's is a secular nation; the Federal Constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion and forbids the establishment of any religious governance. In 2009, after a survey, 82% of all Tiamians claimed "Religion is a major factor in life." According to another survey, 51% of Tiami identified themselves as Christians, down from 69% in 2000. The leading non-Christian faiths were Judaism (1.7%), Buddhism (0.7%), Islam (0.6%), Hinduism (0.4%), and Unitarian Universalism (0.3%). The total reporting non-Christian religions in 2007 was 4.7%, up from 3.3% in 1990.

7.3 Education

Education in Tiami is a big deal. Everyone is entitled to a free education, whether or not they want or deserve it. Education is directed by the Department of Education. Generally, from six years of age, your enter school. Once you have reach eighteen years of age(Leading you through the 12th grade), you may exit school. Of the four Tamian prefectures, each laws for education are different when it comes to quitting school. .23% of all schooled students homeschooled while about 3% attend private schools in the Sasik Prefecture. Literacy rate is 99.9%.

7.4 Health

The Dependancy's life expectancy 87.2 at birth is one of the highest in the region of Guanxi. Over the course of many decades, with the way of life improving dramatically and health care rising, the people have become exceptionally healthy. Thus, this allows for many citizens to live in their eighties. Obesisty is a small problem with only 2.5 million of the entire adult population being obese. Tiami is generally called one of the fittest nations in Guanxi.

The Tiamian adolescent pregnancy rate of 89.3 per 1,000 women is respectively high for what is it in Tiami's repective region. Abortion on legal demand is high controversial. Law Enforcements in The Dependancy is the primarily responsibility of the local Sheriff's department, while the prefecture departments provide a much borader array of services. With such a high population, even with a well funded police force, Tiami has a farely high crime rate, but has been decreasing for many years. The lowest rates of crime are in the countryside of the Republic, where few live because of the density of the cities with their way of life.

Among developed nations of Guanxi, the Dependancy has above-average levels of violent crime and particularly high levels of homicide. In 2011, there were 4.6 murders per 100,000 persons, much higher than other nations in the region. The Tiamian homicide rate, which decreased by 65% between 2001 and 2004, has been roughly steady but decreasing little by little since. Gun ownership rights are the subject of contentious political debate.
