Infantry of the Imperial and Royal Guards

Drawn from the best in the infantry, the Imperial and Royal Foot Guards are without a doubt, the best soldiers in the empire in head to head combat, able to lay down withering fire, and trounce even Leazusian infantry in melee combat. Despite their prowess, their main roles are to protect the Imperial and Royal Families, and carry out ceremonial duties, although they have been used in combat a few times, and have never once been bested.

Drawn from the best cuirassiers, the Imperial and Royal Cavalry Guards are without a doubt the best cavalry in the empire. Despite their superiority of Luthorian cuirassiers, they are still no match for most foreign cavalry, and thus are rarely risked in battle. Despite this, they fulfill vital ceremonial roles, and guards the Royal and Imperial families, with the emperor having 150 guards around him at all times, each King having 10 guards around him at all times, each crown prince having 5 guards around him at all times, each regular prince having 2 guards around him at all times, and each princess, empress, and queen having their own personal guard.

it is whatever people happen to be wearing, with the addition of love beads, peace signs, and a cloak of invisibility. along with certain other pieces of equipment. specifically power bands, staff of themnax, and belt of xendu. there is of course, no cameroi military in time of peace. there is however, a latent command infrastructure, that can be activated in a matter of moments, should the need ever arise. as it has, exactly once. ever.

(this incidentally, is the exact same as the "uniform" of law enforcement, and anyone else who wishes to wear it, though not required of anyone not actively serving in either capacity. the one distinction being that the peace sign of a law enforcement volunteer on patrol has a badge number, which serves the same purpose as badge numbers of uniformed officers on earth)
