I'm looking for a new 7.62 rifle to replace the FAL. I've been looking at the SCAR-H but I've heard some pretty nasty things about it. So, should I change to the SCAR-H, keep the FAL, or do you guys have another recommendation?

Lilaktia would suggest continued use of the FAL, at least for now. It is a sturdy, rugged and reliable infantryman's weapon, decently accurate, and also, quite powerful.

However, such a valuable industry must be kept under lock and key, and since the very beginning of our nation until today, the entirety of the Anemonian arms industry has been kept as a state-owned entity with heavy restrictions on arms export. In recent times, the entry of the Second Holy Empire into the international stage has created numerous enemies of the Empire who seem to reinforce the importance of keeping this technological edge intact. And yet, at the same time, many nations have proven to be working alongside us as trusted allies and partners. In order to spread this technological edge to the free people of the world, His Imperial Majesty the High Lord has decreed that the Imperial State Armaments Export Authority (under the Anemonian Holy Office of War) set aside a portion of its production and stockpiles for export to similarly aligned nations. The participating corporations at the moment include the following (this list is subject to, and will undergo, modification):

Arsenalyr Coronei IECpl: The Anemonian Crown's own Arsenal, located within the Imperial Citadel of Anemos Rei. With a research and development team far smaller than those of the major state Arsenals, the design output of this Arsenal is comparatively tiny; however, prestigious and home to the finest minds of Anemonian arms development, this tiny output is also vital. The Crown Arsenal is responsible, amongst many things, for bringing modern breech-loading artillery, the bolt action, assault rifle calibres, the smart bomb and night-vision equipment to Anemos and Anemos Major. Founded in 1305 by Imperial Decree, it is the oldest Arsenal in Anemos Major.
Imperise Fonderist dei Anemos Maiorise IECpl: The dominant state small arms and guns supplier, responsible for the large scale production of standard issue weapons.
Arsenalyr Deimos IECpl: The second largest and second oldest state arms supplier, and first providers of firearms to the Anemonian State in a 1650 tribute to the High Lord. Solely produces small arms.
Arsenalyr Karonin IECpl: The Imperial Fleet's own Arsenal, based in their headquarters at Karonin Citadel Isle. A primarily R&D based group assigned to research in most areas involving ordnance, ranging from tank armaments to combat pistols.
Arsenalyr Fierei IECpl: The Crown Army's Arsenal, traditionally based in the Barony of Fierei. Another R&D based group involved in the development of weapons requested by the Army and the exploration of experimental technology.
Arsenalyr Moldonei IECpl: A State Arsenal based in County Moldonei, this Arsenal is mostly assigned to arms production but is unique due to its contribution to small arms development.

The Second Holy Empire of Anemos Major will put aside a portion of of its domestic weapons production and armament stockpiles for export to those nations approved for sale by the State. Though more advanced examples of electronics and technology with immediate strategic implications will not be shared amongst many other things, armaments currently in production by the State, and armaments held in stockpile will be released for export, mostly restricted to small arms.
Approval of orders will be wholly dependant upon that nation's position in the Anemonian State's regard, and will be at the discretion of the Crown.
The State is willing to participate in the provision of customised firearms, but details must be provided and, as always, acceptance is at the discretion of the Crown.
