Rotational Schedule Help

I'm not sure if this is the right place but I am planning on creating a league for my nation, and I can't work out how to schedule it.
Basically, there are 32 teams that are split into to conferences (1 and 2 for the purpose of this thread).
Each conference is then divided into 4 divisions, each of which contain 4 teams (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H for the divisions).
Each team plays the teams in it's own division, one division in the same conference, and one division in the other conference.
For the first season I attempted to put division A against the first possible divisions in alphabetical order: A, B, E. I also did this with the other teams

For example, in the first season:
A: A, B, E
B: B, A, F
C: C, D, G
D: D, C, H
E: E, A, F
F: F, B, E
G: G, C, H
H: H, D G

As you can see, each division goes against the teams in the same division and two other divisions out of A, B, C, D (conference 1), and E, F, G, H (conference 2). However, problems arise when the next season is scheduled:

A: A, C, F
B: B, C, G
C: C, E, H
D: D, E, A
E: E, B, G
F: F, D, G
G: G, D, A
H: H; E; A

Teams still go against their division, but when I attempted to move the other divisions one down in alphabetical order there are now some incorrect schedules. B cannot go B, B, G, so I moved the second B to a C, and so on with the other teams. But now, there are 4 A's, G's, and E's, and only 2 B's, F's and H's, when there should always be 3 of every letter.

I know I probably explained this really badly, and that I'm missing something obvious, but if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

If I understand correctly, you need to rotate the intraconference and interconference pairings separately, something like this:

Intraconference
Season 1: A–B, C–D / E–F, G–H
Season 2: A–C, B–D / E–G, F–H
Season 3: A–D, B–C / E–H, F–G

Interconference
Season 1: A–E, B–F, C–G, D–H
Season 2: A–F, B–G, C–H, D–E
Season 3: A–G, B–H, C–E, D–F
Season 4: A–H, B–E, C–F, D–G

For the fourth season, you’d use the Season 1 intraconference pairings and Season 4 interconference pairings; for the fifth season, you’d use Season 2 intraconference pairings and Season 1 interconference pairings, et cetera; this results in a twelve-season cycle overall.
