Geography of Slogologia
Location
Slogologia is bordered to the north by Russia and to the south by Kazakhstan. Although border disputes have arisen, borders are mainly understood along landmarks.
Size
Slogologia is about 750,000sq Km. In comparison, this is about half the size of Mongolia, and about a fourth the size of Kazakhstan.
Coastline/Rivers
Due to the fact that Slogologia is landlocked, there are no ports and there is no coastline. However, and rivers running through the area are used as transportation. The primary river used for transportation is the Ural river.
Climate/Topography
Shares a similar climate to Russia. Normally rather cold, but not uncomfortable. Although hilly, there are area's that are easy to settle down in. Tallest mountain- Yonra Mountain (Elevation 4500m). There is a large need for imported food.
Economy of Slogologia
The Slogologian economy is very heavy in the production of Iron, Gold, and other precious metals obtained from the hills and mountains that surround the lower land cities. This has produced great wealth for an average sized country, along with strong government oversight and regulations that require certain safety procedures to be followed. All of these, combined with the will of the people, has lead to a surplus in the following industries: Mining, forestry, and certain luxury goods. These goods are normally traded for food or money to strengthen the economy of Slogologia.

The Solgo- In terms of the USD, worth .62 cents on the dollar. The code of the currency is SOL.

External Debt: Almost non-existent, small ammount (300 Million Solgos) owed to Russia.

History of Slogologia
The state of Slogologia was founded in 1973 during the Cold War. A breakaway from the Soviet Union, they created a state in which socialism was the most prevalent ideology. National identity has since solidified Slogologia, creating a strong group of individuals. This has created good working environments, great production, and a high standard of living. Although a very new nation, it is becoming a player on the world stage as a country with a vast supply of cheap iron and certain precious metals.
Government of Slogologia
The official name of Slogologia is The United Socialist States of Slogologia. The shorter name is The United States of Slogologia. Common Reference is Slogologia.
Structure
Although Socialist countries have been named "dictatorships", Slogologia is not. It is a Republic.
Capital City: Slogologiavain (pop. 1,321,343).

Branches of Government
Legislative:
The Legislative Branch is composed of 2 chambers, the House of Nobles and the Senate of the Commons. Both are elected by citizens every 5 years, and each district gets 5 representatives no matter the size of the district. The House has 12 different districts, the Senate has 17. Districts are created/changed every 10 years voted on by citizens.
Executive:
The Executive branch is composed of the President and his advisers. Advisers are appointed, the President is elected for a 3 year term with an unlimited amount of terms available. The President is more of a moral leader and a motivational leader.
Judaical:
The Judaical branch is composed of the court system. Each district has a "Supreme Court", and each sub-district has a national court. Each city is allowed to have a court, so long as they are officially incorporated. There is no national supreme court.
Military of Slogologia
The country of Slogologia does not have an active military. Most members of the military are in the area of support roles for international obligations. There are emergency plans for an invasion, although international laws have made it difficult (and unlikely) that Slogologia will be attacked.
