In the Commonwealth of Goltzborg, it is generally the belief that our citizens rank the three following concepts accordingly: Country, Family, GOD....1st the most important, 2nd the next most important, and 3rd the least important of all three.

"God" is generally seen as disinterested towards moral affairs and impotent against such things, and therefore does not generally figure. (Although it could be claimed that "Reason/Logic/Science" is an approximate equivalent, although it deals more with individual reason than "group" reasoning.) "Co-workers/Company" outranks "Family" because early Freneq-Joplinian social order emphasized work over kin/romantic relations, and even today a Frenequestan will wince when someone puts the desires of their family over that of their co-workers or company. In fact, schoolchildren are expected to rely on one another for social and moral support rather than just the family.

In general this hierarchy is seen as marbled rather than strictly tiered.
