Annabel Kinnear is a women of the flesh. She started at an early age, when her parents died tragically in a house fire on their ranch just outside of Chloride, Arizona when she was at the tender age of twelve years old. She packed up her things and left Chloride, set up to live with an obscure relative in Contention City, twenty miles west of her burned-out ranch. For several months her life settled into normality again, until her obscure relative, a binge drinker and an excessive gambler, lost every cent to his name in one game of poker. He needed the money, and couldn't hold a job. He forced Annabel into prostitution to make ends meet. She spent the next several months in and out of brothels until she found a man who she thought actually took care of her during their sexual rendezvous.
