Most Quelesians do not possess timepieces; most do not find it necessary to know the exact time of day, and our culture places less emphasis on time generally than some others. However, when it is necessary to measure the time of day, Quelesians use a hexadecimal clock with 16 hours in a day, 16 maximes in an hour, 16 minutes in a maxime and 16 seconds in a minute. 0:0:0:0 is at mean solar noon.

The peace-loving workers and peasants of Gulagonesia use the 24-hour clock. It gives you twice as much time to do your patriotic duty in the building of socialism, as the 12-hour clock.

The 24-hour clocks is mainly used here but the 12-hour is not unheard of.

The United Federated Districts of Hevora. Or Savedland, as it is often hideously anglicized...

We are a large, free, powerful and beautiful country with a very long history that stretches back thousands upon thousands of years.

We are a union of many nations and cultures. The most dominant and shared by almost everyone is that of the Hevoran (Savedlish) People. It has its roots lying in an ancient creole culture that emerged from extensive contact between a bronze age hellenic and norse civilization which evolved convergeantly on an fictional, alternate universe Earth.

Bit weird, I know. But we're a lovely culture if you care enough to get to know us! :D

The Country is split on this actually. The state of Western Melavisia uses the 24 hour clock and so does the Place Islands, but the Catholic Socialist State of the Melavise Islands uses the 12 hour clock

A 12-hour clock, although a lot of ponies prefer using sundials.

In Equestria, daytime and nighttime are traditionally thought of as separate, singular times rather than halves of a single "day". Our mythology states that daytime was the domain of our Princess Celestia, while the nighttime was the domain of her younger sister, the Princess Luna. Together they ruled Equestria in turns, each surrendering their authority to the other with the rising of the Sun in the morning and the Moon at night.

Xanthal isn't Earth-based, so it uses a variety of clocks by planet, as well as a Federation-wide standard clock based on the Earth second.

The six hour clock has been common in the AGRHW since clocks were first standardized, as was common throughout Calipathia at the time. Although most other states have altered their behaviors, Hanseburgers and Wittelsteiners tend to tell times in hours past midnight, mid-morning, mid-day, and before midnight.

00:00 — Mittnacht
01:00 — Einz [bis Mittnacht]
02:00 — Zwei [bis Mittnacht]
3, 4, 5 — etc: Drei, Vier, Fünf [bis Mittnacht]
06:00 — Mittmorgen
12:00 — Mittag
18:00 — Sechs vor Mittnacht
19, 20, 21, 22 — etc: Fünf, Vier, Drei, Einz [vor Mittnacht]
