Monopolies are not illegal but they are discouraged. We feel that monopolies can exist in certain economic climates, but in general, they inhibit growth and stifle competition from smaller competitors, thus restricting economic growth and power.

Anti-Trust Laws monitor and regulate corporate operations, and forbid any industry from going into a "super sized" state of operational control over commerce / commercial operations.

Are market monopolies allowed in your Great State ?

Yes. Distruzio is largely free market in economic matters. The King does authorize minor interventions from time to time, unlike the Doge before. But these interventions deal largely with standardizing national roads, the military, and the navy. That is all... so far.

Only if they are natural monopolies which are then preceded over by Crown corporations; if not we have regulatory measures to prevent the domination of one company in a certain industry

Certain utilities are government monopolies, or have state-run businesses which dominate the markets, but in general any other monopoly that forms, if we allow that, will be heavily regulated.

Yes they are allowed as they naturally form when consumers prefer one company or product over another one. If you have a great product, why should you be punished?

There are antitrust measures in place, and companies are not allowed to abuse their position to unfairly raise prices though.
