How do corporations within your nation view nepotism ( family working within the same unit ) ?

They're alright with both, as long as they don't interfere with peoples' jobs.

Business is usually managed based on meritocratic utilities... employers don't feel an obligation to assist family members financially, and will only hire family members if they can perform effectively.

Remember that scene with Philip and Hank in Atlas Shrugged? Yeah...


Corporations don't care about employees dating and whatnot so long as it does not interfere with their performance (at least to any substantial degree).

Most businesses are family-owned, so nepotism is the rule rather than the exception, mostly. Fraternization among related family members is.. pretty gross, but hey, if that's what you're into...

To obtain a higher-level government position, even a non-elected one, you must pass a civil-service exam. So, if government officials are placing their relatives and friends in positions of authority, at least they're qualified relatives. People generally frown on that sort of thing, but it's legal, and it happens.

It's considered inappropriate for corporations (or any employers) to interfere in emplyees' personal lives. Such behaviour could well be grounds for the workers to take control of the workplace. Similarly, if management indulged in nepotism, they would be likely to find themselves out of a job.
