How was your nation born; how did it come to be?

Originally it was founded as a colony, then a revolution led to the initial entity that could be called Thurask. Several coups, revolts and civil wars later, the current Republic came about.

Standard beginning really. Started off as a small colony, grew bigger and bigger, gained independance. Several wars and all.

Oppressed by a wretched world, Christians fled to North Americax

[Yuktova]

Yuktovania started as a colony/reseach staion for Imperial Russia in Antarctica. After finding precious minerals in Antarctica, the colony went "offline", and was never heard from again until recently.

[Vinnytown City]

Got independence in a war with Tialia, whom we eventually took over.

[Saurisisia]

Dinosaurs were cloned by the Saurorean Republic, more intelligent than their Prehistoric predecessors. They were treated like slaves and livestock by the government, intent to be supersoldiers and entertainment for the public. They rebelled, killing any pro-Government gunman in their path and gained support from Humans, native Reptiles, and sapient creatures who were either normal animals mutated by Saurorean experiments or Humans mutated into Humanoid animals. Over time, they overpowered their foes and eventually captured the capital of Hansville after a bloody battle, overthrowing the government completely. They then established Saurisia, which (obviously) continues to exist to this day.

[Oceanic Vakiadia]

Oceanic Vakiadia began as a nation in 2118, when 5 colony ships crashed on this planet. The survivors from these ships built the capital city of Adiakav and some vehicles out of the wreckage. Fresniko Gallifril, the first leader of the nation, founded the Socialist Republic of Oceanic Vakiadia 16 years later.

[Christantle]

The Roman Republic was originally fought over during in which the Roman Empire claimed. After years of semi-autonomy, Christantle, know as Remo then, fought for their independence. Recognized in 42 BC, Christantle was born. The Republic was then, in April 2011, formed after the Imperial Dynasty was dimished after a massive depression. Inflation rose to critical levels. Unemployment rose to 48%. Then, Rodirog Audrite Da Puccini, the current nations leader, stepped up towards the podium and took power. After massive reforms and decolinization, the Republic was established and The Roman republic of Christantle was forever enxrested upon Earth's land.

As for the San Romanite Republic, we were established as a principality and buffer state between two hostile regions, and have remained independent ever since.

That depends on whether you're asking about the origin of the Xanthalian nation as an identifiable entity or the origin of the modern Xanthalian state. The Xanthalian nation originated on the fictional continent Zithal on Earth in the mid-20th century, formed by the conquest and union of the feudal states there under Shi'in Ra, which was subsequently reorganized as the first state to bear the name Xanthal. The modern-day Federated Democratic States of Xanthal is the successor state to the failed Socialist Republic of Xanthal, which was itself formed by a nominally voluntary union of independent states formerly affiliated with Xanthal, which had broken up after the seat of power in its highly-centralized government fell to foreign invasion two hundred years previous.

The Empire started simply as the small territory of the Batory moroii clan. Somewhere along the line, an ambitious clan matriarch realized a few things (namely, that the non-moroii could be quite cooperative and useful if treated as subjects rather than food), and began campaigns of conquest, annexing the lands of nearby tribes and such. The Batory clan's territory grew into a Queendom, and then eventually an Empire. And there you have it.

We were settled by Celtic tribes, then invaded by Spain, then won our independence, then after two years as a Republic suffered a coup and became a monarchy, then had a ten-year-long revolution in the 70s and became a radically democratic socialist confederation.

[Dagnia]

Around the year 3000, Dagnia was settled and founded as a nation on the outer rim of the galaxy. At the time, space travel was tightly controlled to prevent any noble experiments that may be a threat to the interests in the ruling powers at the time. The settlement was illegal, which is why they chose a system where the most habitable planet was a barren, cold, dry place and nothing in the system had any notable resources. An additional reason was to show what creative, innovative people could do in the worst conditions when not restricted by their governments once the colony was strong enough to make its existence known.

my dominion was created only recently about ten or so years ago, before i came to power the country was lead by a barbaric monarchy that outlawed just about everything i took over in a bloodless coup d'etat and drove our opressores into exile. later they returned with an allied nation to try and reclaim their throne but we were ready. the war was over in less than six months, and my nation was finally free, we have been exploring science ever since.

According to legend, there was once a great empire called Archaea, which stretched across the continent, until corruption, decadence, and decay took hold, and the Archaean Empire splintered into a multitude of independent city-states, which eventually coalesced into a few nation-states, Solaria Rhae being one. During the Gregorian calendar year 1007 AD, tensions in Solaria Rhae reached the breaking point in the struggle over how much power the king should have, as well as policy toward Kandoor. The region known as Mektar then rebelled against royal oppression and formed a seperate country.

[Arcayna]

After the Human-Locust war humankind was distrought. fed up of war they came together to form Arcayna. The capitol city Jacinto was named in honour after the old jacinto was sunk and destroyed in an effort to stop the locust hoard. The citizens elected a government and that government then re-formed The Coalition Of Ordered Governments Or COG for short with Chairman Odonoghue at its head.

Large volcanic island discovered by Vikings, king appointed and island colonised. Simple really.

[Mossulia]

A few wannabe dictators teamed up and destroyed a stronger peaceful nation which contained these little wannabe dictator land that they wanted. They then crashed the years of tradition and began fighting over the scraps.

[Iverista]

Iverista was originally founded by roughly a thousand survivors of a terrible ethnic cleansing, vowing to never let the horrors they witnessed repeat itself the founders agreed that everyone would be equal in the new nation which would be kept secret for several years.
After a few years the nation of Iverista let itself known to the outside world, and quickly grew into a good sized nation with several big cites and a small, but thriving economy. Civil rights are still the main concern of the people, who are kind if not a bit frank with how they feel.

[Ruskarkand]

Well, initially, Ruskarkand was run by humans.
Laugh if you must, but the true Ruskarkand is run by us.

The first Dragoon was an experiment to imbue a Dragons DNA into a human, wham, you got your TYPE A Dragoon.
More and more were converted, mostly high government officials, and soon, they decreed the whole nation to go through the transition process.

Overtime, we naturally evolved until we had completely bred out the human geonome from our DNA structure.
Then we realised that we were superior to the pitiful humans in every way, and the Dragoons came into power, as they always should of done.
Thus, the True Ruskarkand was born.
