Kalaspia-Shimarata's flag represents the Union between K&S. The dark blue represents the sea and the light blue represents the sky. In Kalashi language considers light blue and dark blue to be different colours. England colonised, and unified K&S, between 1774 and 1953, and English, light blue and dark blue are considered to be the same colour. Therefore, the contrast between dark blue and light blue represents the union, but the differences between K&S where as blue being two but simultaneously one colour represents K&S being two, but simultaniously one entity. The opposite to the symmetry represents the unity and indipendance of K&S, whilst also representing the Kalashi culture of opposite symmetry.KS is 75% Christian, hence the cross.

I think 7 triple deck carriages per train is good

The United Federated Districts of Hevora. Or Savedland, as it is often hideously anglicized...

We are a large, free, powerful and beautiful country with a very long history that stretches back thousands upon thousands of years.

We are a union of many nations and cultures. The most dominant and shared by almost everyone is that of the Hevoran (Savedlish) People. It has its roots lying in an ancient creole culture that emerged from extensive contact between a bronze age hellenic and norse civilization which evolved convergeantly on an fictional, alternate universe Earth.

Bit weird, I know. But we're a lovely culture if you care enough to get to know us! :D

Great! We'll start now! I've been thinking: Since there are 8 lines between Savedland and Kalaspia-Shimarata, 4 will start their maiden journeys in Kalaspia-Shimarata and the other 4 will start in Savedland. The winner of the race gets to decide which 4 start in their land?

The with all due respect bit is implided. Haven't you ever heard of $#i+ sterring?
Anyways, the Kalashi told the government to pass on this message to you. Can you please paint the inside of it either white, extremely pale green or extremely pale blue? This is because a tunnels of these colours reflect light and are better illuminated than black/unpainted ones. This will only work if there are lights inside the tunnel though!
As for the design, yes that's great, but what about the huge glass windows in Kalaspia-Shimarata?

((ooc: I couldn't find a picture with glass panels...))

They will be added of course. It's just an old image that we recycled. The structure will be the same but with the adition of glass panels.

Pale green will do. Besides its our national color...
An it will act as a green-screen for the passengers!
Let me explain... Because the tunnel will be a bit of a dull site from a passenger's window, we adapted our holographic technology on the windows of the trains. The passengers will be able to choose a landscape to be projected on their cabin's window. It will look like they are crossing a desert, a forrest, a marsh or many others. With the walls of the tunnel acting a green-screen the quality of the projection will be amazing!

what do you think?

1.By pale green, I hope you realise it means this:
Image
2.The hologram thing is a brilliant idea! But it defeats the purpose of the glass. Unless we don't have glass exept at stations?
Anyway, we don't need glass. Besides, one of the options on the holographic window can be an actual veiw from outside the tube, if you know what I mean. It'll have cameras on the outside of it filming the landscape live and send the picture to the window at light speed. And the people who don't have a window seat can have the same effect as there can be a wall between each seat. Yes, I have an idea of what the inside can look like. I'll upload it soon. If you want, you can turn the window off. Again, if we do this, the glass will be completely useless. Also, we'll put many cameras at the same spot at different angles so that people can see at different angles. Anyway, I have drawn a 2D cross-section showing the lawers of the inside of the tube:
Image
And what it should look like at a station where all the tracks will be at the stations. The tube should widen at the stations then narrow itself again. This is what it should look like at the station:
Image
Also, with the race, when we build it, is that just the structure itself then when we both reach the centre we add lights, cameras and do all the painting or the whole thing with the lights and cameras and the painting? Also, I was thinking we should put in ads every 100 meters or so and, exept for stations, there should be a wall between each track?

About the glass panels...
We've done some calculations and it turns out that if we do the hologram thing it will save us massive amounts of resources and construction time. But, whatever suits you...

The tunnel and platform arrangement is Perfect!
As for the race, we follow this plan:
We build the tunnel on "waves" which progress forward as the metroscapters dig further.
For exaple, the metroscapters dig one kilometer. Once the have progessed one kilometer, we start putting the titanium/aluminum panels and the concrete/steel beams. once one kilometer has been outfited we start putting the tracks, the airvents and power cables. Onces one kilometer of these has been put in place, we start doing the painting, the side-ramps, the ligts and the advertisments (btw we agree on putting advertisments). That means that the metroscapters which make the main shaft shall meet . Understood?

Yes but what I don't understand is if 1 kilometer is built, do we wait for it to be completed with the tracks, ads etc. before we start the next or do work on the next kilometer at the same time? Also, I didn't really understand what you said about the glass

No, we don't wait. We start progressing to the next one immedietly.

Yes. You will see us there, waving a huge Kalashi flag and deciding which 4 tracks to use! At this rate, we are thinking of doing the race inside Kalaspia-Shimarata too to increase speed and productivity. When we meet in the middle of the ocean, at what alptitude shall it be? Should it be above or below water?

If you are talking about the tunnel it is below the seabed

Pfft! We are doing 3 222 meter constructions at the one time! Anyway, how far below the sea bed? Being that far below the ocean, I know I would be having panic attacks from claustrophobia! There should be a way of defeating people's claustrophobia. Another thing is that there might be a fire or something under the sea bed and the trains are stuck. Then what?

Because of the vacuum the presures will be huge so the tunnel will have to be quite far under.
620 meters to be exact. As for the claustrophobia, we'll make sure there will be a great variety of entertainment to to drive peoples attention away for the fact that they are travelling so far under the surface.

A fire cannot break out in a vacuum remember?

1.620 meters will be fine
2.No matter how much you entertain someone, a phobia is a phobia and although you are having fun, you'll keep constantly thinking about how deep you are and you keep constantly asking someone and if they lie to you, they check themselves to see how deep they are because they don't trust the other person and if they found that they are lieing, it'll just make matters worse. Trust me, I've been there! What I meant by conquering is that we should prove to them that there is a way of evacuation in case of emergency, like emergency exits every km or so and the emergency exits lead to the bottom of the ocean where there a submarines to pick them. There won't be a fire but I'll tell you what IS possible is the entire tunnel freezing like what happened with the Eurostar early this/late last year
