OOC: It's not as common a practice as it once was in Real World police and fire depts, and in the military, where individuals were required to be of a certain minimum height and maximum weight, or a certain sex, in order to qualify for admission; of which, the gradual change in attitude towards these traditionally accepted qualification, is due in a great part to many of the enacted anti-discrimination laws, as well as the fact that modern day society finally realizing that certain ( but not all ) former qualifications may be out-of-date in today's real world.

Are there any height, weight, sex, etc, etc requirements for individuals to be able to obtain a position in your nation's police and fire depts, or in your nation's military divisions ?

If so, please expand upon the details.

One must be in peak physical condition to be a police officer, a firefighter, or a soldier. Human females are not allowed in any of the three, and homosexuals are barred from all three.

The selection process is based on physical aptitude, so people who are too heavy/tall/etc or not heavy/tall/etc. enough are rejected. Gender, sexual orientation, race, etc. is not a factor.

To join the military or the Constabulary one has to be a human and meet the physical and mental requirements. Criminal Police doesn't have any physical requirements.

The Ruskarkand services, except the military, are open to all Reptillian Races that may inhabit Ruskarkand.
However, to do so, you must pass a physical and mental training session.
There are no restrictions to whether they are male or female.

However, the Military is only open to physically and mentally tested Dragoonian men or women.

If you pass all prerequisites, you're in. Height, weight, sex, etc doesn't matter, although we will admit that the physically fit do tend to pass those prerequisites over their less physically fit colleagues.

To join the military, police, or Gendarmerie one must pass both mental and physical requirements. Admittedly, these requirements are a little more lax in the municipal police force than the military or Gendarmerie

If a Red Tidean can meet the (rather basic) physical and mental meet the requirements of at least being a part of the infantry and don't have one of the other very narrow means of exemption, the he or she is eligible for military service. For the first nine-years of a Red Tidean's adult life, they are also eligible for conscription unless they meet one of the previously mentioned exceptions. The same goes for the Interior Ministry and PKI, although they prefer people with at least a college education. City, Provincial, and Oblast Police Forces set their own recruitment standards, although there is a list of standards that they are prohibited from applying set by the national government.

In the infantry, endurance is more important than brute strength. You have to be able to carry your own food and personal equipment as well as your share of the squad ammunition loadout.

In the Air Corps, the Tank Corps and the Navy, physical stature is even less important and smaller people are at a distinct advantage.

Police services in Fatatatutti tend to recruit for intelligence rather than strength.

Fire brigades are the only public safety organization where physical strength can often be a matter of life or death, so they do have requirements about how much you can carry, not how much you weigh.

As in all of Fatatatutian society, if you can do the job, nobody cares what colour you are, what you have in your pants, where you came from or what your favourite ice cream is.

There really aren't any special requirements, except if you are going to be in the Navy you must have a rock hard stomach to endure months of rough seas.
