Your Nation's *Great War* ( "The War To End All Wars" )

Probably the Revolution, our country's weak monarchy at the time of the German invasion in 1941 put up no resistance (my country is completely fictional).In the Revolution 700,000 people died at the hands of the private armies of the Cronos Corporation.

The Supreme War against Kreiglandia (June 2003-February 2018) was the bloodiest conflict in all of Volmachtian history. Back then, Volmachtia had a population of roughly 480 million. Krieglandia had a population of 1.8 billion. Krieglandia and its many allies battled against Volmachtia and its supporters for a decade and a half, resulting in the deaths of over 300 million people and the complete devastation of 20 million square kilometers of land. Reconstruction efforts have taken over half a century to have a lasting effect, and countless natural wonders were burned to the ground in the fighting. Volmachtia itself lost 23 million people and 550,000 sq. km of territory.

When the council had left for the crusades, the Franks and British had the perfect chance to take over. Both sides surrounded Snowtop City, and almost took the city. But the harsh climates and the Siar mountains kept them out. However, in 1293 the Brits came with Camels from the East and brought cavalry. They swept through Gaul and eastern Europe getting closer to Snowtop City. Meanwhile, the Council's army got the news and, as well, were storming through the east. As the militia in the capital was losing faith and men, the council came to save them. The Brits didn't expect it, and were slaughtered. Unfortunately, the armies of Snowtop were also wiped out, leaving 75% of the capital's army and 95% of the Council's army dead, wounded, or missing. Because of the travels and hazards to get to Snowtop City, it was named, the Frost War.

Also, from 1600 to 1613, the Snowtopians had a horrid civil war. The Catholic side of the Council did not want Muslims, Jews, or Protestants in the council. The majority of the Council was Catholic, so they out voted the rest. The other religions were exiled to Scotland, Scandinavia, and the Israel. This Angered them. Instead of leaving, they all turned against each other and started war. The Jews took two small cities on Oyster Bay, having the best navy. The Catholics took Central Snowtop, and small whaling villages on the coast. The Muslims took all of the south. And the Protestants had small cities all over Europe like Hamburg and Dublin. The first three years were rough. Everyone was against each other. Then in 1604, the Catholics took the Jewish area, getting the best navy. With that, the Catholics stormed south from 1604 to 1607, taking half of the Muslim's land. And by 1610, the Catholics had taken over all of Snowtop City. But in 1611 the Protestants came with Southern Irish allies and were fighting the Catholics full on. In 1612, the Northern Irish and Brits came to Snowtop City, and Pushed the Southern Irish and Protestants to the east. In 1613, the protestants finally got German allies and pushed the Catholics back. The sides were even and both had equal land, so they had a truce. That is why the council is half Catholic and half Protestant.

The Raven War is the worst war in our entire history. There are six clans in Endoria. Raven, Eagle, Wolf, Dragon, Bear and the Lion Clan. When The Eagle and the Dragon went to war the Raven clan stepped in and tried to stop the conflict. This caused everyone to turn on the clan after they killed the leaders of the two. Over 300,000,000 million Endorians lost their lives in the time of 30 years. Alot of the Dragon clan fled to the far southeast of Endoria while the Eagle Clan flourished in the south. The Bear, lion and Wolf clans are living peacefully under the Raven Clans leadership.

Mthryll hasn't been in any wars, but there is a Great War in pre-Northern Kingdoms history that resulted in the Destruction of the Elves.

We've had a great war, but it was never expected or intended to "end all wars." It was known when the first troop crossed his border in hostility, though, that it would be the end of the two-nation setup Cybertron had prior to the event. By the time of its conclusion, one of Cybertron's nations would no longer exist.

Often misstated as a "civil" war, the Great War of Cybertron was fought between these two nations: the Decepticons and the Autobots. By the time it was over, only 7 people remained actively functional across the entire sphere.

These 7 were all Decepticons; the survivors of the war and its final battle.

What made the war so devastating was the fact that Cybertronian robots, on both sides, had a few characteristics that are very different from humans. For one, both sides looked at the possibility of extinction very different than biologicals usually do. To all of us, the prospect of losing - and having to live according to the enemy culture - was at least as bad as death. Some of us considered defeat to be even worse.

Secondly, we just don't get that desire for peace that humans experience as casualties mount, and we never did. It's not in the Code. Instead, we simply became even more motivated to kill all of the other side before they could kill all of us.

Third, we can reproduce much faster than biologicals: with the high-speed factories running at full tilt, we can make millions more citizens per year. This means that depopulation, while we still consider it devastating, isn't all that likely to lead to extinction unless EVERYONE on one side is killed. Even then, the extinction only hits the losing side, and of course, that's exactly what we want to happen to them.

All of these things are basic Cybertronian beliefs and reactions that were common to both Autobot and Decepticon. Therefore, neither side would even consider surrender. Only the total extinction of one group or the other could end this war.

It was primarily for these reasons that the War went on - for hundreds of years - until finally, We killed all of Them. With the Autobots totally extinct, we could finally claim true victory.

The personality traits mentioned above are still the standard for our species, our culture, and for us as individuals. If another enemy attacked the Decepticons, we would again fight to the last bot. For us, surrender will never be an option if we are in the defensive position protecting our native lands.

The Sebastianalandian Civil War.

Over eight years of bloodshed, May 1987 to January 1996. A popular revolt against the hated reactionary monarchy of King Vyacheslav II transforms into a ruthlessly organized total war between revolutionaries increasingly dominated (eventually, monopolized) by the Communist Party and royalists gradually degenerating into warlords fighting for personal fiefdoms.

Estimated tens of millions lay dead, from mighty battles over hundred-mile battlefronts to civilian massacres of priests to systematic liquidations and guillotinings of alledged counter-reoplutionaries.

The war left the Communists - the only surviving faction - with a permanently totalitarian and brutal attitude, and left the people accustomed to hardship and oppression on a tragic scale.

The peace after this war lasted until the mid-2000s, with the intervention in Seculartopia's favour during the latter's invasion, the post-Apocalyptic war over Tsukteka, and many more besides.

[Holy Marsh]

The Long War; 100 BCE-2003 CE, or Present if you ask some. Waged against the Lardite Cult for control of the country now known as Holy Marsh, it has roots in a religious dispute reaching 5,000 years into the past. It is responsible for the vast majority of all Marshite deaths over the last 2,100 years, reaching into the many billions of dead Marshites. Death tolls for the Cult are double, perhaps even triple, with 3-4 billion Cultists killed during the last six or seven years. According to whom you ask, this war either ended when all Cultists in the area now called Holy Marsh were killed, or it is still ongoing as believers in the Cult continue to survive outside of the continent.

The Xarithian Civil War.

The War reduced the Xarithian population by more than 90%, kicked off the "Industrial Race" that eventually lead to widespread environmental devastation, seriously damaged our infrastructure, and so forth.

The fact that we not only still stand, but thrive, is a testament to the power of the Will of the Emperor.
