Neighbor Nations: Friends or Foes ??

We've had an open border policy since foundation 4202 years ago. The only nation bordering ours is Andossa Se Mitrin Vega, and we have no diplomatic mission or relationship with them whatsoever.

While Thurask is an island (except for a strip of frozen wasteland at the north), the nation of Solestum is immediately to the east of us. They were a former colony (which gained independence violently), so relations are strained. However, they have thawed since independence with the various government changes in both countries.

We get along well enough with most of our neighbouring countries, and have open borders with all of them.

We're an island with no neighbours and no other land within a thousand kilometers. No doubt our geography has influenced our culture and our culture has influenced our attitudes to other nations.

We are completely open to individuals coming from anywhere. As long as they don't bring weapons, they are all perfectly welcome.

As for the governments of other nations, there are very, very few to which we are friendly. We have neutral feelings to a lot of them but to a very large number of them, we are distinctly and openly hostile. For example, we will never have friendly relations of any kind with governments that practice genocide, slavery or torture.

Our closest non-Colonial neighbors are the Chyeknovostan Republic of the USSCR, who are generally neutral.

Great Kingston is an island nation however many Commonwealth Territories border former Kingstonian Dominions as well as other nations. Our foreign relations are excellent with all and the borders are open but heavily defended to prevent illegal immigration.

Our nation's neighboring countries are Haegor and Bragia. Haegor 'was' our long- time enemy, but most of the land adjacent to Veceria looks more like wasteland than some hostile territory. Bragia however, is our protectorate and former colony.

The territory of Neo Prutenia is not compact, but rather quite loose and apart, therefore the Nation has many neighbors with complex socio-economical and culturo-historical relations. Metropolitan Neo Prutenia has cordial relations with all its neighbors, while Aschenkeilern Neo Prutenia has a more complicated, intricate ties with it's neighbors. In particular, relations with the Jungastian Empire are neutrally warm, neutrally cold with Tiurabo and completely neutral with ViZion. Right to the south and east, over the Prutenian Gulf, relations with the Saurean remnants are mixed, but mainly antagonistic, if sympathetic, while the relations with Defese are rather difficult to describe.

In the past, Neo Prutenia cooperated actively with the majority of AzhuSouth to implement the Autobahn Freeway in AzhuSouth, being one of the first signatories and sponsors of its construction. Last year, a considerable sum was donated as disaster relief to Garimidia, after the nation was hit by a devastating volcanic eruption and even volunteers and hospital ships were sent to help along. Trade relations are informally maintained with Cyrupe, Velliano, Rusikstan and several other Azhukali nations, and a stronger level of cooperation between Sailsia and Neo Prutenia have been witnessed as of late.

My nation has always strived to colonize all surrounding nations. Since our creation, we have controlled a large ring of satelite nations this allows us to maintain an open border policy with them all.
