The current reigning President, also the first, has been ruling for 17 years, and is an autocratic head-of-state of a Democracy. Of course, he started as the de facto head of a refuge camp, who managed to get those who had come there fleeing an ethnic cleansing to actually rebuild their lives fairly quickly and start making enough money for the communal donations from the refugees themselves to build up enough for them to be able to purchase the camps nearbye and slowly start a country, literally from the land that was given to international refugees, so the fact that he's managed to stay in as the all-powerful president for 17 years in a country that requires voting for the Presidency (that is the one voting that doesn't have bull-shit balots that're just entertaining re-names of a "None of the above" option).

That's why the Federation of Deshara is a Federation; its oldest states were just tiny plots of empty farmland that were set up as tent-cities.

Rhodesia's 2nd President, William J. Harper, was elected to two terms, but resigned 2 years into his second term over a disagreement with the government.

Alistair Clark (1919 - 2011) is the longest served Prime Minister. He served as the final Prime Minister of Southern Rhodesia between 1964 - 1965, and the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Rhodesia between 1965 - 1977, a total of 13 years leading the country.

20 December 1722 for a total of 61 years, 305 days.

Lord Squidd served as Patrician of ArghNeedAName from 1884 to his death in 1927. After his death, the office of Patrician (who served for life) was abolished and replaced with a President, who had a term limit of 10 years.

Squidd was initially a wise, moderate and popular leader. He encourage state governments to turn from monarchies into republics and began lots of welfare reforms and introduced universal male suffrage. But as time went on he became increasingly stubborn, authoritarian and erratic, and refused to allow more democratic reforms to the federal government. Everyone was glad to see the back of him in 1927.

The longest reigning Head of State of the Hobitan Confederation is King Alphonse IV in 1563-1646. While beginning his reign when he was three, he was not capable of governing until age 25, thus the nation effectively being ruled by his mother, Queen Bernice III, until then. But legally he is the longest reigning head of State.

The longest serving head of state in the Republic of Tappahannock was the first, President Peter K. Flynn, who served twelve years divided equally between three terms of service.

Following the Flynn Administration, no President has served more than two terms.

Our Current President, Robert C. Nixon, who has served 23 years(4 terms of 6 years). You would think that people would want to start putting term limits in place(most of his opposition does), but a majority are in favor of him. He did announce he wishes to retire instead of running for reelection again.

The gene also affects his children, and their children, and anyone who they make love with, so around 100-150 people by the end of the 21st Century will have the defect.

Grand Duchess Wilhelmina

Her Royal Majesty Grand Duchess Wilhelmina of Noordeinde-Nassau was our Head of State from 1898 till 1948 (from when she was 18 till she was 68). Wilhelmina just reached adulthood when her father, H.R.M. Grand Duke Hendrik, died.

All of the sudden she had to suceed him immediatley and stayed on the thrown for 50 years. Which is currently still the record for longest single Reign in Noordeindian History.

Wilhelmina is most wellknown for being our Head of State during World War II. Though she was a Ceremonial Monarch, she was still one of th most outspoken figures against the occupation of Sovereign States by NAZI Germany, Facist Italy and the Japanese Empire together with the President(s) of the United States of America, Roosevelt & Trumann and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Mr. Churchill.

She was a great heroic leader who stood very close to the Noordeindian peoples and the Royal Noordeindian Armed Forces. Many times she interfered or criticised the President (Head of Government) on his wartime policy. Because of doing that she was adored by everyone.

Three years later, in 1948, she abdicated and was succeeded by her oldest son Alexander. Her Royal Highness (then) Princess Wilhelmina died in 1962 at the age of 82. She shall never be forgotten.
