Drug, Gambling, and Prostitution Policies in you Nation

Postby Vocatus » Mon Apr 04, 2011 2:10 pm

Gambling is largely legal but confined to designated areas.

Prostitution is strictly illegal.

Drugs are generally dealt with through airstrikes on any plantations and extreme armed response in urban areas. The law enforcement drops down like a proverbial ton of bricks.

Gambling is legal, regulated and taxed. Lottery is state run.
Drugs are legal, regulated and taxed. Available through state licenced vendors. Taking higher class narcotics and being addicted disqualifies you for all manner of social security help, untill you clean yourself up.
Prostitution is legal, as Constitution gives everyone right to fully control what they do with their body. Pimping or forcing people in sex slavery is extremly illigal, punished by 5 year slavery term for first offense, amputation of arms, legs, eyes and tongue for second.

All prostitution is prohibited by statute and various Constitutional precedents from the courts.

Alcohol is under the full force of a Constitutional Prohibition; all other drugs are prohibited statutorily.

Gambling is totally legal and largely unregulated.

Gambling: Legal, regulated (must be 21, ID mandatory), taxed (10%)
Prostitution: Legal, regulated (both parties must be 18, ID mandatory, pimps employing child prostitutes are sentenced to life without parole and victims liberated), taxed (15%)

All three are illegal at sea, however, all three are legal on land. So says the Code.

Drugs- Illegal NO exceptions
Gambling- Illegal
Prostitution- Legal, achually it is considered a pretty good profession to take up in our country. However AIDS and other sexually transmitted disease tests are required for prostitutes once a month, skipping checks are a state offeses punishable through death or imprisionment for life.

Drugs for adults are decriminalized, but courts can force someone to attend treatment if the drugs are associated with a crime or resort in a mental health crisis or child welfare case. It is illegal to sell without a license and following state law. Prostitution is decriminalized and regulated, but the cops tend to turn a blind eye to unlicensed prostitution. It just is not a priority. Gambling is allowed, but casinos have strict regulation.

Prostitution and gambling are both legal in YellowApple for all adults. Prostitutes are required to register as businesses or employees thereof, and are required to use some form of contraceptive (though not all cities and settlements require barrier contraceptives) and submit to regular medical examinations to monitor for sexually-transmitted infections and diseases.

Most soft drugs are legal in YellowApple; heroin, cocaine, tobacco, and methamphetamine are, however, contraband, and no substance may be smoked due to oxygen preservation laws.

Gambling, including online gambling, is legal. Prostitution is legal but strictly regulated. All drugs are banned, but drug users are sent to rehab, rather than prison. Traffickers, on the other hand, are severely punished, with punishment ranging from 10 years to 20 years in prison.

certain drugs are off limits in the great lioness (cigarettes for example), drugs like cocaine are monitored and regulated extensively often only applied by perscription, marijuana is perfectly legal and has no regulation to it it can be grown in your own garden,

the nation's government stays out of the citizen's gambling industry, gambling is largely done in our nations arena,

as for prostitution, all our nations bordellos are run by the government, each mistress in this industry is given an extensive medical work up to insure that STD's are not spread to clients, if an STD is discovered the mistress is immeadeately removed from the occupation until the STD is removed

First,we don't search for idiotic ways to escape the difficulties of life.
Second,we don't risk everything we have on things we sure are going to lose.
Third, the Catepane lady is a woman full of self-respect and dignity and would never sell herself to such un-noble job.We could recruit foreign whores but we're not much in inter-racial sex with beastmen,so we avoid.

All of these things are illegal there,in short.

Many drugs are freely available in Falcania, and sealed sachets of cocaine can be found in supermarkets next to the cigarettes.

Prostitution is just another service industry; it is not stigmatised any more than being a waitress is. Tipping is only polite. The same goes for strippers; in fact, the two largest chains of "gentlemen's clubs" (Ol' Smokey's PLC and Last Tango Ltd) offer competitive sponsorship schemes with some of Falcania's largest universities. Many doctors and lawyers are quite open about the fact that they danced their way to their degrees.

Huge casinos wrest profit from the masses, and nowhere is this true more than Spike City, a provincial capital in the mid-east of the old country. One of Falcania's only real tourist destinations, the "Playground of the Free" boasts gigantic multi-storey hotels, casinos and strip joints, alongside fine family dining and amusements for the kids. Many Falcanians, however, see gambling as a bit of a waste of time, something for tourists, but a laugh once in a while (for stag dos and similar)

Hashish is the only commonly used narcotic. Gambling is a huge part of Sebastian culture but can only be done through state betting agency, SeBet. Prostituion is widespread, brothels are legal and licensed. As are street girls who ,use wear a yellow ribbon in their hair.

our culture doesn't create enough of a market for any of them to become a problem requiring regulatory policy at the national level.
the one key aspect of our culture that may most account for this, is the non-repression of imagination.
far from being trivialized as immature, it is considered the highest calling of sapience.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.
