It's not illegal, but it's not advised, as Tobacco cannot grow here due to the cold conditions, we have to import our cigarettes.
That means a packet can be up to 10,000 credits.
Alot.

In each pack of cigarettes, there are 4 pieces of cigarette due to law saying you cant have more than 4 pieces in each pack.

Wow!

In Sibirsky, cigarettes are sold in packs of 20. On average a pack of Marlboro cigarettes is S0.75 ($1.29 USD/£0.79 GBP). Buyers are charged a sales tax of 11% as on all other non essential goods. The sales tax is the only legal tax in the nation.

Smoking is not illegal in Wai Mala, however cigar and cigarette companies are banned from stuffing their products with addicting & disgusting chemicals. People are free to smoke natural (chemical free) tobacco outdoors.

Smoking is legal in ML. However, it's illegal to smoke in enclosed public places (e.g. restaurants and pubs).
Please note that Mid Lothian is based on fantasy. Any references to anything/one/where that exists is completely coincidential.
Frequently used abbreviations: HoS = Head of State; HoG = Head of Government; ML = Mid Lothian; KSS - Kate Stephens-Smith.
Fancy an embassy in ML? Click me for details. (PS - I'll return the favour.)
I am usually rewriting stuff about Mid Lothian - just because it's true today isn't necessarily true tomorrow.

Warning - Full-time Grammar Nazi at work. You have been warned. (I guess that's due to my mum being an English teacher. Also, don't use masculine words to describe me - my name is Rebecca, which is clearly a feminine name.)

62% of the country smokes. Unfiltered, additive-free cigarettes, might I add. The most popular brand by far is Cigue Psferae which translates to Cig Sphere. There is a recreational drug tax which applies to cigarettes, as well, but that's about it.

It is legal, but most people find it disgusting and wasteful. About .05% of the population smokes cannabis. Tobacco is not native to our planet.

You mean second-hand smoke? People in most nations are courteous enough, and will refrain from smoking if you give a good enough cause.

Besides, if that's reason enough to ban smoking, shouldn't we also ban driving? Cars produce harmful emissions you know, harmful even for those who do not drive themselves. Even mass transit networks, such as buses and taxi services, do nothing to really solve that issue.

Players who complain about the inexperience of newcomers, but will only take part in an RP if it is closed, are a HUGE part of the problem they are complaining about.
