The Imperial Republic of Sensal understands that in today's world no country can effectively survive without maintaining relations with the members of the international community. Trade, diplomacy, negotiations are all part of the great game known as international politics around and embassies are a crucial and vital proponents to this game. Embassies allow governments to quickly and efficiently communicate with each-other streamlining communications between nations.
Sensal in its past 100 years of history has largely kept to itself refusing to partake in international politics and concerned itself with keeping foreign influences out. Previously the monarchy had supported foreign influence in Sensal and the embassies from nations across the world found themselves in Sensal. But as the monarchy abdicated and the Republic rose once again, the new government had decided that Sensal had had enough of the foreigners' intervention. Embassies and their ambassadors were ordered out of the country with the Republic entering a stage where it became known as the "Hermit Republic" During this period of time, Sensal stayed isolated and kept to itself only allowing a very certain amount of foreign entities inside the country.
But the past 30 years had called for change and the Republic completely overhauled its foreign policy. This new policy called for greater Sensalian presence on the international stage and in part called for embassies to be constructed once again in Sensal. These policies are now being greatly accelerated by the newly restored monarch and the Imperial Republic of Sensal is seeking embassies around the world. We seek to create relations with nations around the world and to familiarize ourselves with the nations of the world. Due to these new policies, the Grand National Assembly has after 102 years of application, repealed the "Act of Domestic Protection" allowing embassies to be built and occupied in Sensal.
We greatly hope that your nation chooses to declare an embassy in The Imperial Republic of Sensal as we are certain that such will result in flowering relations.

Rules and Regulations
Import/Export Regulations
As following with Sensalian import and export laws, the following restrictions apply to all embassy staff and anyone tangential.
- Any persons carrying over 10,000 USD must declare the amount to airport officials(upon arrival of Sensal or departure).
- Any goods amounting over 400 USD will be subject to taxes and duties(Note: By Sensalian duty free laws, persons may bring duty free items up to 1 liter of alcoholic liquor, 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, 2 oz of perfume and 250 grams of tobacco products without being subject to taxes or duties).
- Illicit drugs found by authorities will be confiscated and man/women found carrying them subject to immediate detention and prosecution.
- Books, publications, drawings and paintings, films, phonographic materials, video works and other items of similar nature that are considered a threat to national peace and security will immediately be confiscated with the person in possession immediately detained and prosecuted.
- Foreign plants, animals, or their derivatives will be confiscated at sight.
- Any firearms, ammunition, or anything in their nature will be confiscated and owner subject to immediate detention and prosecution(Unless registered with the National Police Force and declared before entry into the country).
Firearm and Equipment Regulations
Personal firearms are illegal in the Imperial Republic and only the National Police Force,Imperial Militsry, and any licensed government workers approved by the National Weapon Regulation Ministry may carry any sorts of firearms. Any person's caught holding a firearm of any sort will be subject to immediate prosecution and arrest by Sensalian authorities. The Imperial Republic though does recognize the need for embassies to have their own protection though and waivers embassy security from Sensalian gun laws following their registration.
The following steps are required for proper firearms registrations as stated by the National Weapon Regulation Ministry.
- Any firearm(s) must be reported to airport authorities upon entering Sensalian airspace.
- All firearm(s) upon arrival in the Imperial Republic must be emptied and carried in a 5 centimeter thick gun case with a 10 digit lock.
- Firearm(s) will be temporarily be taken by officials from the National Weapons Regulation Ministry for proper registration(at this time the case must be opened by the owner).
- The firearm(s) will be then delivered to the owner at the embassy, the owner is to under no circumstance retain control of the firearm until they arrive in the embassy.
- Officials from the National Weapon Regulation Ministry will make weekly checks to ensure all firearm(s) are kept in their safe unless in use by security. Failure to comply or pass these checks will result in confiscation of said firearm(s) not to be returned under any circumstance.
The following are restrictions set by the National Weapon Regulation Ministry of firearms carried by embassy security.
- The firearm carried must be restricted to a "pistol"(Defined in the following restrictions).
- Only 9x19 mm ammunition size will be permitted on embassy grounds.
- Automatic weapons will not be permitted on embassy grounds without the full and complete consensus of The Imperial Republic.
- Any forms of explosives will not be permitted on embassy grounds.
- Any sort of chemical or biological weapons found are to be considered as threats toward national security and thus punishable by death.
Diplomatic Immunity
The Imperial Republic recognizes the right to diplomatic immunity and ensure's that the right will be followed. Somethings are not covered by diplomatic immunity however and will result in prosecution by Sensalian authorities.
An incomplete list of crimes deemed severe enough to be prosecuted by Sensalian authorities...
- Breach of any Sensalian import/export laws.
- Breach of any regulations/registration process set forward by the National Weapon Regulation Ministry/
- Any bodily/mental harm placed upon any persons.
- Breach of any Sensalian traffic laws.
- Larceny of personal Sensalian property, state information, or of any sort.
The Imperial Republic of Sensal reserves the right to repeal any sort of diplomatic immunity on any foreign delegate if said delegate has been found guilty of crimes endangering state security. Any diplomatic staff can be detained for 24 hours if good reason has been found and during this period said staff member will be subject to interrogation by Sensalian officials. Persons able to receive diplomatic immunity include any foreign worker in an embassy that does not have a residency in the Imperial Republic.

Baekshan Avenue
Gate into Baekshan Ave.
Baekshan Ave. also has the unique distinction in which no cars or motor vehicles are allowed inside the avenue due to the traditional gate which situates it at the front of the avenue. Originally built in 1743 to house the first of foreign delegations that arrived in Sensal, the area was built at first as a complex where the Sensalian government could easily keep an eye on foreigners, hence its proximity to Sensalian government organs. The area has since then undergone several revisions to provide plumbing, electricity, and other amenities to the houses as the avenue maintains itself as complex for foreign delegations. Today it maintains itself as a popular tourist destination and many foreign delegations may find classrooms taking field trips along the avenue as well as tourists.
Songyun Street

Built in 1932 to accommodate for the growing number of foreign delegations in Sensal, Songhyun Streets was built in the Victorian Era style which was considered the height of architecture in Sensal at the time. Delegations will find that the street seems more like a western foreign nation rather then Sensalian due to its near complete transformation into a western styled area. Delegations will even find western styled streetlamps as opposed to the more eastern Sensalian streetlamps and many people will be surprised to see more foreign built cars then domestic in the area. Delegations might be surprised to see university students protesting government policies or actions in the street and if such protests do occur, it is recommended by the Sensalian government that the delegation immediately contact the National Police Force without hesitation.
