Although the rivalry has not been violent for over forty years, the two families have a burning hatred for each other. The current King, Il Re Victor Umberto IV, is the first of three songs of Victor Umberto III; Victor Umberto IV, Luciano XIV, and Emmanuel XI. Victor Umberto has no male heirs, however his brother Luciano has three (Ludovici, Luca Batolomeo, and Alexandre Manin) and Emmanuel who has two (Andrea Morinique, and Antonio Benedici Manin) sons. Each of Victor Umberto IV's nephews have been given immense fiefs and positions as Ministers.

Notes: The losing end of the feud between the two Royal houses of Mantova - Ivrea. The Casato d'Ardore originally hailed from Mantova whereas the Casato di Manin hailed from Ivrea. The two House heads have overlapping claims as the King of Mantova, however, Victor Umberto IV of Il Casato di Manin is the one credited with the official title. Rosa Morinique d'Ardore is the wife of Generale Andrea Morinique Manin, but has kept her name as d'Ardore to display her loyalty to the Casato.
