Special Notes about your civilization: Magic is not exactly Magic, Such things require technology and Generators to work, and Space travel is developing slowly thanks to reverse-engineered tech, resulting in Slower than Light Vessels at the Time being, however, the Ability to Time Travel and cross Universal Plains are becoming a thing with co-operation with a Alternate Kettroa, Known as the Occupation, who are offering their Hand in creating time travel and Void ships( Not space) The Void is a space between spaces which is regarded as a dark, expansive mass of nothingness where time is irrelevant and physics are irrelevant also, while space, known as the Ether, is similar to the Sea, with patterns and currents, making Ether-travel much more complicated than Space travel or Void Travel, We also are way ahead of our time, by 20 or more years, becoming more scientifically advanced per year or decade, as a civilization we wish to establish harmony and peace amongst the stars without fears of war or Conflict.

I find many divisions of the magical levels too similar to each other, but I'm sleepy, so I'm probably more lazy than normal so I probably skipped something. Also FTL travel seems pretty more advanced than making cloning the norm (after all, FTL travel probably bends whatever laws of physics we have now). Either a civilization which such kind of drives would already be able to develop sapient AIs or these are impossible to create. But what I'm saying is more about what I think would be RL technological evolution than sci-fi settings, so taking into account the "no posthuman" galactic empires of space operas as Star Wars maybe these levels make sense. Whatever, the index is cool

I suggest Tier 12 for Technology would not be Post-FFT but FFFT (Farther Far Future Tech) itself. My nation is pretty much a FFFFT or above. But would definitely be nice if Tier 12 meant that. I would even go so far as to expand the entire index to 20.

I based the tech tiers mainly on my experience with NS roleplay. FTL is pretty common, nearly every FT nation has it, but sapient AI, while still common, is not near universal. I went with that. Besides, these are examples, not requirements, for each Tier.

It was made intentionally vague because prior to that it was deemed too narrow and too close to typical fantasy RPG style magic than many nation's actual examples. I went for broad and vague than clear and only applicable to some nations.

Given the small number of nations that choose 12, I don't feel like such an expansion would be useful to very many players. Others have already complained about the scale being too focused on FT nations. Can't please everyone.

I didn't ignore you. I simply am not going to make one based on military power.

Maybe at a later date I might make a weapon scale based on the destructive power of a weapon. But there is enough complications already with even that idea.

Of course, you are always free to make your own index. That's what happened with this one. I thought Querria's index needed improvement, and I made this, and now look: almost 600 nations have used this index. So give it a shot!

Rating this was actually kind of weird, as specific technologies and events resulted in some scores being higher than they would otherwise. Most of the technology is meant to be rather "hard" sci-fi wise, and even the magic used has to follow the laws of physics (least of which being conservation of energy and matter). FTL is completely impossible: instead wormholes are used (which is not entirely safe, either). The only reason Necropolis is considered Tier 10 is because there is technology that can destroy stars... by siphoning off much of the star's matter necessary for a stable reaction... which in turn would "destroy" the whole star system as the star would no longer be producing enough heat or light to sustain life on planets within the "life zone". As for how the Influence Type is as high as it is, that is because the setting has a multiverse-wide cold war between deities, and as the Supreme Dictator of Necropolis is such a deity, everyone abroad judges everything.

Lastly, I wasn't sure what counted as "average". There are casters within Necropolis who could go as far as Level 9, so figuring this out was rather difficult.

For civilizations like this one, it is quite easy to get very weird numbers because of how the index is structured. It is useful, to be sure, but the resulting numbers can paint a picture much different from the truth.
