We are often mistaken as Germans or Italians. Also many people think we are somehow feudalistic. But that´s not true.

1. Many people believe the Bresdennian Realm refers to the country of Bresdenn. When in all actuality it is an empire made up of 4 countries and many territories.

2. Just because we have a Marijuana Time does'nt mean we are total potheads. Its just like Tea Time in England, its cultural.

3. People think we are snobs but in reality we are hyper-intelligent scholars and linguist who do have a wild side

4. Bresdennians have been called sex addicts given the common number of children being 5. We just believe in reproduction and most of us are married.

The younger generation in Nekoni are said as being extremely rude. Although here we disagree, as the majority of the people don't view profanity to be that offensive.

Compare us to human standards, as well they should not.

We are not humans and did not fall prey to the greed, avarice, and bigotry of other worlds. We explore the galaxy, establish settlements, to aid our understanding of the universe and help those in need.
We feel fortunate that we did not fall into the intellectual darkness, that seems to have griped so many others.

Savolicans have a nasty reputation in the region for their temper and ignorance. Truth be told, all Savolican subjects are exceptionally bright and enlightened. The neighboring nations are just jealous.

Well, for one thing, many outsiders believe Saurisia is composed solely of Reptiles, Dinosaurs in particular. For another, they also believe us to be Reptile, or Dinosaur, supremacists who outright hate all Mammals (Humans in particular). In actuality, we have a number of different Mammalian and other non-reptilian species living in our nation, from Cetaceans to Sharks, to Dwarves, Ponies, and, yes, even Humans. The fact that one of the members of the Dragon Court is an Orca and a number of top military commanders are non-reptilians is testament to our general tolerance towards them.

Another common misconception is that we are ignorant, backwards, fundamentalist, ultraconservative bigots. In fact, we are actually quite tolerant and social conservative to a point of tolerance. What we don't tolerate are immoral deviants and hypocrite progressives who dislike religion and conservatism while hiding behind a facade of tolerance.

Many people pronounce Carena, Karina [KAR-Ena] even though it is pronounced [KAR-In-ah], and misspell Carena Carenia.

Many people believe that we're vain, smug, condescending, meglomaniacal, penguin-worshipping drunks.

That is not true. We don't actually worship the penguins.

People tend to believe that we are beaten.

We are not.

Wrong, very wrong there. While we're Islamist and rather Fascist, we're against the practice of suicide-bombing. Also, despite our staunch opposition to Communism, we aren't "Capitalist". In fact, we're practiced a centre-right economy, and we opposed both Laissez-Faire and Communism.

People think we're communists because we are an officially Atheist state and have committed mass genocides on our Christian, Mormon, and Muslim populations and because we somewhat follow the Norse economic model.

Everyone thinks that we NEVER use violence, and for good reason, but our military forces are used solely in countries committing genocide or other war crimes against its own, or other countrys' people.

We are all war hungry brutes.

While it is true that we have a taste for combat, and we greatly value martial prowess, we also value knowledge, wisdom, justice, and the arts. We even have a god of mercy, and a god of scientific progress for cryin' out loud.

We're all drunks.

Okay we won't deny it, we tend to drink heavily. But never at times when it can get in the way of us being effective.
