Are bloodsports and violent sports (cockfighting, boxing, bullfighting, etc) legal in your nation? If so, are they regulated in any way? How popular are they?

Combat sports are legal in Paradasea, while bloodsports are not. Participants in combat sports must be of adult age. MMA and boxing enjoys a fair, though not widespread, amount of popularity in the town-state.

The only bloodsport is where we unleash a Tyrannosaurus Rex or Giganotosaurus on a number of unarmed Human convicts and POWs. Needless to say, it's quite entertaining to see Humans try to run from a fully-grown T-Rex!

Sports of all types are allowed, so long as no human or animal dies on purpose during the match. Sports such as boxing and other fighting sports are in fact encouraged, although they aren't nearly as popular as field hockey.

Combat sports are legal but unpopular. The most popular combat sport is underwater martial arts and wrestling.

All sports are legal, as long as the participants' lives are kept, and that the aim of the sport is not to permanently injure your opponent(s). Temporary injuries (such as broken bones or scrapes) are allowed.

Martial arts are popular in Fatatatutti but they are not thought of as a combat sport. Wrestling has a certain following but boxing is seen as pointless. Enticing animals to fight with each other is socially unacceptable.

However, one person shooting at another living thing is a standard for sports in DASHES.

Our violent sports are either played digitally (In the form of huge media-covered gaming tournaments), or I real life, with shooting (Paintball or Airsoft) sports played in modes Free-for all, team death match, wing-man, capture the flag, seek and destroy, fortress defense, and a few more popular ones.

We also have fencing, but that is not nearly as popular.

The violence is simulated. Extremely few 'real' fatalities, just special effects to make it seem that way, and The People are happy with this, as it satisfies their moral concerns.

Jousting is still popular as well as swordplay which is fought to first blood or sometimes to death against wild animals.

It is not unknown for the youth of New Amerik, especially those born and raised in the superurban Cities, to engage in the sport of street racing, which though not illegal is in the process of being regulated to private courses to avoid any damage done to nonparticipants. Street racing may not sound that dagerous, but that is in part because many nations have not attempted to engage in a twisting three-dimensional courseway five miles above the ground, in flying cars filled with explosive engine material and sensitive parts, in and around other traffic, the building complexes, street signs, and all sorts of bridges. One wrong turn could take you spiraling into a building and being engulfed in flame while crashing into the darkness, or one critical instrument could go out and you end up stalling out and falling three miles to the ground - which, if you survive, are likely to be set upon by the various beasts that live in the near-perpetual night of the ground, or Former City section.

Despite the risks, street racing is immensely popular among the younger crowd, and survivor's are often heroes of whatever school they happen to inhabit. As a general rule, nearly all racers are under 22 years of age.

Combat sports are allowed, blood sports are not. That being said, combat sports that as closely approach the "reality" of what they are simulating (e.g. combat fencing v.s. sport fencing) are higher rated and far more popular than tamer variations of the combat sports.

Of course bloodsports are allowed! Most of us, however, would rather go on a real raid if we desire a risky activity. Bloodsports never pay off as well as draining a refinery, yet can be just as dangerous - so most of us don't bother with competing in them.

Live-fire versions of (the game) Raiders and Defenders

Raiders and Defenders is usually a youngster's game played with paintballs. The adult version uses real full-powered blasters and the prize they fight over is real Energon. This game is typically used to show off tactics and strategy where other Decepticons are around to appreciate the spectacle, and is a way for raid gangs to recruit new members.

Combat sports are very popular in Turmoilandia. Boxing is the most popular combat sport, but MMA is also fairly popular (however, there are rumors Turmoilandian MMA is often scripted).

Oh and also, martial arts...and boxing...and american football, and baseball is pretty violent too when you get hit in the face by a ball.
