German Invasion: Currently the one military victory (as of 2022) of the Spib Republic and its predecessors, shortly after the Fall of France, Nono Germany moved on to the Spibean British Protectorate to attempt to seize it for easy access to the western hemisphere and encircle the UK. In a turn of events that shocked the world, the outdated Spibean Armed Forces managed to hold off the superpower for several months, using the method of raining down artillery shells so frequently and accurately, most German battleships could simply not reach the shore. A humiliating struggle for Germany, very few land infantry ever made it with all of them ground troops eventually getting captured. After the embarrassingly lenghtly six months, Germany left the protectorate and intended to try again later once the Soviet Union and UK were down, which never happened.

Battle of Urbo Heights: In late 1962, the last major battle of the Spibean Civil War, and the most decisive. With the large city under siege, socialists and continuatives fought just outside of the city limits, with the suburban terrain creating massive challenges for both sides. It ended with a peace settlement where the socialists would get partially amnesty if they stopped fighting and be forcibly enlisted into the unused Spibean Official Militia to deal with external missions. Once the war was over, the nation was in ruins and the transitional government was set up.

Spibean Election Day: In early 2022, the authoritarian reign of the transitional governments was finally over with free and fair elections being held. A momentous occasion with the 60+ years of political repression and authoritarianism over. The first president, prime minister, and parliament members were selected without any influence by the government. This was also the establishment of all political parties and the started the rapid increase in safety, quality of life, and freedom of the media

[Scytharum]

The Battle of New Cambridge: This battle was the last battle fought between the British Empire and the Brasilian Rebels in the War of the Americas. This battle saw the first flying of the Scythian Elk banner, which had been adopted by the rebels as a sign of freedom and charting their own path. As the banner was raised, the Brasilian troops moved in on the British positions, assisted by a stolen British vessel which kept the British Navy at bay. The Brasilians, despite high casualties, won the battle, and the independence of the nation was secured.

Operation: Libertatem: The largest-scale conflict that Scytharum has ever been involved in, the United Commonwealths launched a massive invasion of the Draka, who had previously joined the Axis Powers in WW2 and bombed the Falklands. First, Madagascar was taken as a foothold for a land invasion, after which the Trident attack came; an attack from three points, from the Cape to take Cape Town, from Madagascar through the Mozambique Strait to capture the ports of Viktoria and Warnia, and from Namibia to capture Windhoek. After this, the three-pronged forces united and pushed up the Draka territory, freeing the slaves as they fought. This moment not only solidified Scythaic dedication to ending slavery in Africa altogether, but also the nation's dedication to civil rights, especially by its leader at the time, Henry Harry Langston, whose life had been saved by an African Freedman. This would go on to shape Scythaic culture forever, solidifying the respect and loyalty of almost all of Sub-Saharan Africa to the cause of Scytharum.

Mars Landing: In early 1970, Scythaic entrepreneur Marco Ferrus Walter had pioneered an impressive satellite, and managed to land on Mars before the Soviets. This represented a major leap in the Space Race, for Scytharum. Cheering could be heard all throughout the nation, and even the Americans, despite it not being their victory, were relieved that the Soviets had not reached Mars first.

The Disaster at River Phil'T

Long ago, PhilTech (south) and Piltover (north) were once united and was called "Greater Piltover". Being the bridge between Valoran and Shurima, Greater Piltover quickly became the center of trade, industry and technology. However, there is one obstacle, trade ships coming from eastern Valoran must cross around the Shuriman continent just to reach western Valoran. To save a lot of time, money and manpower, Greater Piltovan merchants, engineers and scientist devised a plan to construct the biggest man-made project yet - creating a River/canal between the north and south, to be named as "River Phil'T". This will not only revolutionize trade routes and bring more unimaginable wealth to the country, this will also showcase Greater Piltover's dominance as the City of Progress.

The plan was simple and carefully well-thought. Slowly but surely, construction of the canal will be done in 20 years. However, of course, impatient greedy merchants doesn't have that time to wait. They want it done within a year or less; so

The combined forces of engineers from the north and south devised a plan to accelerate the process. They plan to simultaneously use thousands of custom made powerful explosives. At first glance, it was a well thought-out plan - especially coming from the brightest scientist in Runeterra. But...no one even dared to calculate the catastrophic miscalculations that is about to come.

Bombs has been placed...stretching horizontally end-to-end between the northern and southern Piltover, only one thing to do left is to pull the trigger.

1...2...3......Detonate.

The explosion was unimaginable, bright beams of light, several mushroom shaped explosions. The north was spared by this miscalculation, but all the misfortunes was for the south to feast upon. The explosion caused massive sinkholes in the south. Entire cities submerged by the rapid flow of water, some cities were spared but sank deep into the holes. Now, hundreds of thousands of southern citizens are trapped underneath the radioactive and toxic sinkholes of what is about to be known as...PhilTech.

[Feldsworth]

The most defining event in the history of the nation was the War of the Western League. Feldsworth stood on the frontier of the conflict between a vast league of kingdoms and duchies to the West, while its southern and eastern allies supported the conflict minimally and exploited their geographic security to force Feldsworth to bear the brunt of besiegement and casualties. Despite the odds, Feldsworth triumphed. And despite the complaints of the League's negotiators, the performance and ruthlessness of Feldsworth's armies and minimal reliance upon foreign assistance put it in an irreproachable negotiating position from which it claimed significant territorial gains.

It was the Bohr, recognized as the first True Bohr in the nation's history, who secured the victory by mobilizing the nation in an unprecedented manner through her nationalistic-egalitarian rhetoric and valiance and spurning the debts that its 'allies' claimed after supplying a pittance of manpower and arms to the war effort. The ideology that was inspired by her calls to action, the idealization of her tactical genius and strategic aggression, the discipline that was instilled and exercised in the armed forces from then on, and the overall spirit of defiance and oneness that overtook Feldsworth in its struggle for survival laid the foundations and the skeletal structure of Bohrištė and the modern Felskyjan state.

This war begun on Feb. 17,1583 when the French Empire declared war on the HRE, taking advantage of the HRE's rebellions in Eastern Europe. The British Empire and the Spanish Empire declared war on July 2, 1583. Citing "German superiority" as a threat to European stability. The HRE consisted of Hannover, Brandenburg, Pomerania, and the Confed. of Southern Germany. In the first few months of the war, the HRE was pushed back to the Rhine River. Lemsrow had existed as a monetary union with all German states except the CSG.

On August 19, 1583. Berlin was besieged by French, Spanish and British troops. As the city was razed to the ground, the King of Brandenburg, Schellfin Schleswig III was evacuated with 47 guards. While the other 953 known as the Pontifical Pomeranian Guard stayed behind and defended till the last breath. For 4 hours, the PPG held out. But eventually, all of them fell. But not without massive casualties by the aggressors. In total, 11,000 soldiers and 953 PPG men were killed. 53,000 soldiers from the aggressing countries were killed.

Eventually, in 1601, the Kingdom of Italy joined the war with the French, but the French were near capitulation as Paris was on the brink of siege. And on 1607, the Empires had surrendered. Thus making this war "The War of the Empires".

The most defining event in Ocilivian history, and history throughout the civilized world, is the collapse of the Legian Empire in the midst of the Bolkni Wars.

Around 59 BF --- "before [the] fall [of the Empire]" -- rumors abounded from the East of the rise of a great empire. These rumors were confirmed to be true soon after they began spreading, and the Bolkni Empire launched a full-scale invasion of Legian territory. Legia, confronted with issues of internal corruption, civil strife, and poor military numbers were washed away by the invading Bolknoi Empire under Ked-Buqah Shao. The last Legian Emperor, Artellvs Marcellvs, attempted to launch a counterattack around the city of Priora, the capital of Legia, that failed and ultimately led to the fall of the city for the first time since the Great Legian Civil War some 600 years prior.

The fall of Priora would usher in a wave of mutinies by generals and troops alike. Although the Bolkni would retreat from Legia just a few decades after their invasion, the work was done and the Legian Empire was de facto dissolved by 1 BF --- ushering in the AF "after [the] fall [of the Empire]" dating system and various new pseudo-states, including the Justiciate of Ocilivia and the Directorate of Priora.

[Hyidai]

The 60k March, where the army that would become the first Ground Forces of Hyidai traveled many miles to a seaside town which would eventually become the only landlocked part of Hyidai. They then sailed to the main island of Hyidai.

[Medrua]

A significant era of history of Medrua: Economic crisis in the 1910s and 1920s with severe unemployment and inflation lead to civil unrest and the election of Nationalist Order to power, establishing a single-party fascist rule in 1931, which was defeated by the civil war of 1956 which restored the multi-party democratic system.

Since its founding in 1924, Corporoat had been a proudly stateless society. In 1997, the World Assembly of TopCornion convened to create an official standard world map. Because Corporoat had no government or leadership at the time, it never sent any delegates to the convention. At the convention, it was decided that since Corporoat had no WA presence or state apparatus, it meant that the nation didn't actually exist. Corporoat was labelled as empty territory on the official world map.

The WA, using what few Corporoatian records they had access to, mailed as many citizens as they could about the fact they were living in unclaimed land. Most ignored the letters and calls because they thought it was some sort of weird scam or advertising campaign, but those that paid attention started frantically notifying anyone they could until a mass panic erupted. Eventually, a group of influential people teamed up to create the closest thing to an official solution that they could: they hired an actor to pretend to be the president of Corporoat. The actor, referred to as "The Man," would attend any diplomatic function where Corporoat's presence was needed. With this solution, Corporoat could have a say in international gatherings without actually needing to form any sort of real government. Somehow, this system managed to work for about 21 years until the actor who had been playing The Man defected to a neighboring country.

This incident was what laid the groundwork for society's growing acceptance of the possibility for Corporoat to have a national leader figure. It also helped to harbor an even greater hatred of the World Assembly among the populace, however. Ever since the incident, a large number of citizens have considered the WA to be some sort of authoritarian empire that wants to destroy freedom and the Corporoatian way of life. (Though, to be fair, that's the way they view all governments.)

[Agencourt]

The 1860 Knifepoint Treaties. They transformed Agencourt from a diminished Pacific power into a de facto colony of France, leading to the archipelago being split between France and Germany during the Great War, leading to an economic and political split that persists even to present day.

The Treaties, in short:
Mandated French as the language of State and the language taught to children.
Ceded all foreign representation to France.
Established a punitive tax rate that was to go directly to the French treasury.
Made the King of Agencourt subject to a council chosen by the French.
Required all French citizens be tried under French law.
Subjected natives to harsh restrictions.

[Grand American Union Republic]

Perhaps the most defining moment in American history is the American Revolutionary War of Independence, wherein the revolution that happened in the Thirteen Colonies gave birth to a new nation, the Grand American Union Republic. The event is considered to be the very foundation of the new Republic, and the beginning of a new era.

It would not be until the 2nd American Civil War that became America's recent most defining event that would shake much of the country. The United States' non-involvement in the Great War brought the nation to peace, it would, however, have consequences of not terminating the German threat while it had the chance. After the war, the German eagle rose up as the new world power. The Entente bowed down to the victorious Central powers as the new masters of Europe. America was left alone, soon to fall as well. One by one, the United States lost most of its key trade partners to Germany as increasing socialist revolutions sprang up across the world. The Great Depression brought an end to American hegemony. As the Depression took a toll, Europe was engulfed in instability while the American public grew tired of the old order. Soon, the Combined Socialist States of Grand America formed in the Manufacturing Belt succeeded from the Union, while the American National Union succeeded consisting mostly of the Southern states. South Californian Mexican Syndicalist secessionists also declared independence, starting another civil war in 1935.

With the Union's victory in 1938, various measures were undertaken to prevent major catastrophe from ever happening again.

[Northeast Atlantica]

Our nation arose as one of three warring factions that fought over the ashes of the old United States, during the Second American Civil War of the 2020s-2040s. The Northeast Atlantic army was led by General Jack Harris, a war hero who is now our beloved and benevolent dictator. The war reached a turning point when General Harris's army, having fought the Libertarian American Army for six brutal months and believed to be running out of ammunition (and morale), won a decisive battle using weapons that General Harris purchased from a Mexican cartel, in a secret, brilliant, not-entirely-legal-or-ethical operation. This battle is known as the "Mexican Fire Drill", "Harris's Fire Drill", or "Harris's Brilliance", and is considered the moment that the nation won the war, though it was not the final battle. After the war, General Harris was unanimously installed by our new nation as its supreme leader, for as long as he wants to be.

The Feminization Campaign.

While its name was deliberately inflammatory, it involved not just women but all marginalized genders as well as trans identities. It was a concerted effort in the Feminist-Communist Party following its liberation of the nation to reorient the power balance of gender in cultural and political institutions. The famous name of the program was chosen by its chief architect Anteres Quevedo to draw out from society those who feared women in order for their ideas and reputations to be publicly denounced. This would result in a mass social paradigm shift wherein the Fem-Com movement would, in the words of Quevedo, "seize power in the minds of cis-het people".

It began in 2470 with the replacement of cis-het men in positions of lower bureaucracy and small managerial staff of companies. This was done following secret polling conducted by the Purple Helmets among the workers to assess the performance of colleagues in positions of power and report abuses and negligence caused by them. This quickly amassed a long list of names in various positions of management across companies in nearly all fields of production and distribution which were infamous for evading detection and getting away with horrific crimes against marginalized and minority employees through systematic intimidation and silencing.

The response was the imprisonment of the worst offenders and the demotion of others to positions without the responsibility of authority. It soon began to include other cultural elements which had dominated colonial society, and what followed after was the systematic replacement of white cis-het men not supportive of the campaign according to their colleagues with cis women, trans women, lesbians and other queer people, trans masculine people, as well as indigenous and other marginalized genders. This resulted in a drastic transformation of the administrative structure of every cultural and political institution the movement could touch. By the 2490s, the percentage of cisgender, heterosexual, white-identifying males in positions of power had fallen to around four percent from a high of nearly 80 percent in the first decade following independence, while the percentage of women in positions of political and economic authority reached 60 percent, from a low of nine percent.

The most important event in our history is probably the fall of an alien spaceship in the garden of Outcalt, which occurred on October 27, 1914. Inside were found futuristic weapons and equipment, such as laser guns, polonium bombs and armor in graphene reinforced with titanium. Thanks to these new resources, we entered the war in 1915 alongside the Entente and ended the war in just one year. The alien who died in the crash was declared a post-mortem national hero and "Alien Day" has been celebrated every year on 27 October since 1918. In 2003 the president of the Sirius Solar Union thanked Comicsland for having adequately commemorated his citizen and decided to establish an alliance between our two nations, the "Pact of Kheyl Anag" (from the name of the alien who died in the crash) that still lasts today

There are two significant moments in Korwinian history that shaped the nature of the Anthrostate.

• The Kretuist Revolution of 2763 (2010)
  This event essentially formed the basis of a united and organized Korwin. Kretuists (a political movement whose tenants can be very briefly described as both far-left and far-right) established the Korwinian Union on 21 September 2763 (2010). The Kretuists would rule for six years, until June of 2771 (2018).
  
  
• The Korwinian Civil War, 2771 (2018)
  What started out as peaceful protests and boycotts in wake of the poorly handled electoral crisis of 2770 (2017) gradually escalated into armed insurgency against the Kretuist state. The conflict only lasted two weeks, but it resulted in the collapse of the Kretuist government, led to a brief interregnum that ended with the establishment of the modern Korwinian state.

There are two defining events in Coliantian history:

The Mukturi Act (2012):
During the 2000s, Coliantia was in the right road to independence. The independence movement reached its enthusiastic climax in 2012, when, on February 22, Coliantian Governor-General Ben Mukturi and Ibbonian President Mana Yamin both signed and passed the Coliantian Independence Act, more known as the Mukturi Act or the Mukturi-Yamin Act, which gave a transition period of 10 years before Coliantian total independence. Patriotic spirit exploded after the passage of the act.

The May Democratic Movement (2022):
From May 16 to 21, 2022, the May Democratic Movement broke out across Coliantia, calling for the removal of the Olicol Clique, 22 men who forcefully took seats in the Congress and sought to create an aristocratic monopoly in the Coliantian government. During the Democratic Movement, nearly 1.5 million people gathered through the major cities of Coliantia and loudly protested for the removal of the clique. It would end on May 21 after around 200 soldiers forcefully entere the Piktadoduk (Government Building) and arrested the clique during a Congress meeting, restoring democracy in Coliantia

[DiaperLand]

In 1974 the theme park called DiaperLand was constructed in what is today our capitol city. The company that oversaw the island wanted to create a resort destination to rival others in the world, such as Disneyland. This is an incredibly important time in our country's history, as we eventually took the name of the park and its theme into our culture.

[Reorganized Akros]

Definitely the Great Civil War of 2010-2018. For eight years, an entire generation was plunged into factional, religious, and political strife and bloodshed that killed millions of Akrosians and left the rest of the population traumatized. It's why Akros has spent the last four years content with its military dictatorship and one-party state with no real attempt to overthrow it. It's why war movies are unpopular in Akros. It's why fashion and femininity are in decline in Akros and most people prefer to just relax and enjoy their lives, embracing pleasure when not working hard to rebuild the nation. Puritanism of any stripe is extremely unpopular in Akros. The people are jaded, hedonistic, pragmatic, and irreligious. It's why Islam and Violetism are still banned and foreign missionaries of any kind are forbidden to enter the country.

[Derianloka]

Resurrection Day on 01 January 2013 when earth planet on Derian Universe (now is Derian Pacific Universe) experienced the apocalypse in December 2012 except asia.

The Resurrection Day was born as a quick response action to immediately condition West Asia so that there can be an active government after the disaster in order to suppress the potential for terrorism in Yemen.

However, the Yemeni government has a bad response to the intentions of the Derianloka Government when it became a republic and instead enslaves and treats Derianloka residents, especially the police, until the Derianloka Police turned into the Derianloka Armed Forces and the Yemeni government designated our armed forces as terrorists.

With the designation of terrorists, our predecessors declared war against the Yemeni state and its allies until finally the war ended in 2022 with the declaration of the People's Republic. One time Derianloka continued to grow until it eventually turned into the United Emirate.

[Rhanukhan]

0 - Stephannos, Chief of the Rhanukhii, forges an alliance with neighbouring tribes for mutual protection against the expanding Pretakhoni Empire. The four nations of the Ghattorians, Khuna, Kangharukhii and Samravhtelukhii join with the Rhanukhii to become the core of the later Unification. This point is now recognised as year zero in the modern Rhanukhani calendar with dates rendered as BU (Before Unification) and AU (Age of Unification), as appropriate.

c612AU Rhanukhani armies conquer territories in the Holodlhessi Lowlands abandoned by the Pretakhoni. Ælfred of Rhanukhan adopts the title of "Dominus", which will be held by all Rhanukhani monarchs henceforth.

835-947AU Wars with the northern nation of Nohvala eventually result in a union, doubling the size of the Unified Provinces.

1676AU The Merchant Princess Melissa of Elamadh (said to be the richest person in the world at the time) marries Dominus Matthias III of Rhanukhan, bringing the Elamadhite provinces into the Unification. Elamadh's great wealth and Rhanukhan's military might combining just before the beginning of the Industrial Revolution eventually produces a powerful hegemony that dominates the global economy and politics.

1914AU Dominus Anthony II is assassinated during a state visit to Mahdkhesthan by extremists seeking to eliminate what they see as undue Rhanukhani influence in their country. His impetuous son, Anthony III's first act upon ascending to the throne is a vengeful invasion of Mahdkhesthan, triggering a domino effect of treaties and alliances that results in the greatest war the world has seen to date.

1992-2004AU Dominus Helias, seeking to go down in history as Rhanukhan's most beloved monarch, ironically manages to plunge the country into ruin through his actions.

2004AU Merchant Princess, Dorianne Prism buys the position of Dominus from Helias and radically transforms Rhanukhani politics. She creates a democratically elected People's Assembly, devolves various aspects of power to elected Provincial Governments and installs her son, Horatio J. Prism, as Rhanukhan's first Supreme Chairman - a position he has successfully held through four elections to date. The people of Rhanukhan love finally having a real say in their nation's future and elections always see huge turnouts. After its brief dalliance with failure, Rhanukhan is once again recognized as a major global power of which its citizens, its Supreme Chairman and his Enlightened Mother can all be proud.
