What percentage of your nation’s citizens say they love their country?: around 70
What aspects of your country are most loved by the citizenry: The revolutionary past, and the present anticapitalist stance: we are still working for the great proletarian world revolution after all. Trying to help around the globe, to carry on the banner of socialism. We are, as the name says, only one Base Area. Wherever the red flag flies and our way of political thinking rules is the home of our people. We are proud of our little place: we have built a good home here, archieved a lot. Today we take in as many as we can, send our aid and if neccessary troops to those who need them, and that we can do so is the result of our labour. The Peoples Army is welcomed happily by many friends overseas and by our neighbouring nations, "Hooray, the Red Army is here"!
Are there any laws based on patriotism?: none. Other than we all aim to make a nation for us to be proud of.
Are there any holidays etc. based on patriotism?: May 1st, the day of the worker... The week-long Autumn Harvest Uprising Festival at the end of September, and Armistice Day, January 3rd.

The Autumn Harvest Uprising Festival usually takes the form of a week-long binge and celebration, good food and plenty of alcohol, remembering our brave ancestors. We celebrate their decision, their resolve to make a better life by making a better life for ourselves. On Armistice Day we remember the victims, in the festival we do them justice - by living the life they sacrificed for, by living the way they wanted. Fireworks, getting wasted, eat until we burst, music, costumes... anything you want. The Red Army holds their only parade in the year on the third day, wearing big red flower ornaments and decorating their tanks with paint and slogans. After it the planning committee announces the next years goals, the targets to meet and the new endeavours we will undertake. Every citizen writes down a "Goal Card" at the last day, what he wants to archieve until the next festival, and then burns it on one of the bonfires. We have held this festival since 1970.

What proportion of citizens are in the Armed forces of your nation (if applicable): 1.1 million
What percentage of citizens work for public services?: every service is public, there is no private enterprise here.
How common is voluntary work within your nation?: very.

100% because if they don't they get a knock at their door by the secret service.
its more or less like north Korea. citizens are required to do military service regardless of religion (although its not very common to be a religious nut) anyone caught not supporting the leader will be sent to a "re-education" facility. to be honest, my citizens are so brainwashed that they would probably report their own family if they caught their family not supporting the regime. much like north korea, pictures of the leader and former leaders are to be hanged in your home and to be kept in excellent condition. but yeah 100% cuz i don't give them a choice
