They screwed Max over somethin Fierce...

and the additional features arent any better than NS1 with NSTracker and Wiki...

and they wanted me to pay them every month just to keep my custom flag...

And the "worlds" system was just retarded, and they never made good on their promise of a Military aspect to the game...

Maybe the better questions is "What was good about it?" That list would be a lot shorter.

But let's see... why it was bad
-Clunky, slow, inefficient user interface. (Seriously, no "check all" or "delete all marked" option in the TG box?!)
-You had to pay for things you get for free on NS1. ($5 for a custom flag for a month? I've had a custom flag here for 6 years for free!)
-No WA, and Alliances were worthless, toothless replacements that were, utterly USELESS.
-Trying to micromanage the nation's stats with a random issue system. (You try to stop your population from starving when you don't get any issues about food production!)
-Unspeakably broken war/diplomacy features (Unless you set everything to neutral with everyone, your economy or food production or SOMETHING suffered irreparably for it.)
-Uncooperative, uncommunicative developers who seemed deaf to feedback from the closed alpha test where the mods all said "It's not ready!" through to the open public beta.
-Worlds or "How to prevent people from playing with friends"
-Kiss freefor roleplay goodbye with how much garbage the game tries to handle itself!
-[There was an error processing this template element]
-They screwed Max out of the money they still owe him!!

VICTORY AT LAST!

I knew that NS2 would fail someday! NS Classic has prevailed!

In my opinion, Classic NS is better, because:
A) It's Free
B) It leaves more room for creativity by RPing
C) It's got less crap, like Alliances
D) You can actually have fun, and not have to worry about your nation's Ĺ“conomy failing every week or so.

I bet you're a clone of Max who was sent to the past to destroy the real Max before he makes a deal to make nationstates2 which is really an evil organization that brainwashes nationstates2 users into thinking they are super soldiers who rule the future and cause the nuclear holocaust.

Well, I have seen watchmen more than an average watchmen fan, but my inspiration for my comment came more from the terminator.

No i haven't seen any of the recent films. I've seen the first three terminators. I should make a watchmen nation. How many nations are we allowed to have?

It works, but you cannot "donate" anymore to keep your ambassador status, and they arent updating it any further...

On July 1st, we are going to be taking the game down in order to perform substantial work on its architecture and features. This will not be a simple process and we are not able to give a definite timeline for when the game will return.

Was what they said, so yeah, they're incompetent at taking it down as well. :lol2:
